The Prime Masters look like they're going to have the names of the Primes, so I wouldn't expect full size figures of them any time soon.

Dang, that's pretty disappointing. I really want a good Vector Prime figure since I never got him when Cybertron was around. Kinda sucks that he'll probably just be, like, G1 Landmine or something but with a different name.

Also, just some speculation from me, but since Liege Maximo/Skullgrin is related to Dreadwind in some way, and we know that Dreadwind's a Combiner Wars retool, maybe he'll be able to act as Dreadwind's hand/foot in limb mode?

There's definitely a lot of stuff regarding the various gimmicks that they haven't told us yet. Like Starscream seems way too bulky not to be hiding something.

Hmmm... if it's a combiner torso he's hiding the ports quite well, and his weapons don't seem combinable to make a larger one. Storing a Prime Master may make sense considering his role in the IDW comics, but as a gimmick it's not the most exciting thing...

I like the new legends and deluxes. The prime masters are kinda ehh but I ended up liking the titan masters more than I thought I would. Starscream looks like a mess.

Not really liking Jazz or Starscream but I have the RTS and the MP so I'm covered. Beachcomber will definitely replace the old tiny release and Dreadwind/Darkwing will replace both my voyager customs and the G1 combined form.

Come to think of it, it's crazy that we've had an entire Voyager line of headmaster triple-changers and they skipped two of the few G1 characters that were actually both, especially when so many of the ones we did get were originally neither!

Snapdragon is my favorite G1 Headmaster, so I was disappointed he didn't even get a standalone Titan Master release like Apeface did. Snapdragon hasn't gotten a single bit of merch since his G1 toy. It's time, Hasbro.

To add insult to injury, the third party MP Snapdragon due out soon is the wrong fucking color. Sigh.

I like the idea of two Megatrons, why not? We tend to get inner conflict and having an actual physical version of that is always good fun, plus seeing Megatron vs Megatron is always fun. I still have fond memories of Megatron Vs Galvatron.

Remold of their Not-Tarn, but seems decent enough.

When he first showed up I suddenly remembered owning him decades ago in the G2 days. Fairly sure he was renamed Optimus, I had a cool blue helicopter bot who I think Overlord face shot in the Wreckers. In Europe he was green? Had Soundwave with that giant missile on his shoulder too that was renamed something else in other places. Canada somehow ended up with various versions during the time.

Hearing we're getting a PoP Voyager Starscream had me super excited until I actually saw the pictures of it.


Those proportions look whack. Maaaaaan, all I want is a good CHUG set of the core Decepticons that fit my super specific scale desires- Titans Return finally gave me a Megatron I can settle on, but we still need a good Soundwave and Shockwave, and I'd like a new Starscream to replace the original Classics mold.

Other reveals: Deluxe Power of the Prime Jazz, Dreadwing and Darkwind (which are Combiner War retools that combine into one super jet), Legends Beachcomber, Leader class Rodimus Prime, and a Titan Master Skullgrin here

They're finally giving updates to the Dinobots, Predacons, and Terrorcons. Plus, they're doing three of the fembots.

I'm pretty excited to see how Predaking turns out. Hopefully the proportions are good even though all the Predacons are voyagers.

Is this the first time they've made a fembot larger than a Deluxe? I'm not 100% familiar with all Beast Wars toys so there may be a larger Blackarachnia or something, but otherwise it's nice to see Hasbro finally taking notice that fembots tend to sell out super fast.

Quite excited to get a better look at the Dinobots and Predacons. Really about fucking time for the non-Grimlock Dinobots. For fun they're also releasing a Legends-sized Dinobot (the velociraptor character, from BW) so you can get a full set of dinosaurs in one collection.

The Prime Masters gimmick still seems super silly to me, but I guess I shouldn't complain when we've got stuff like Planet Keys before.

Ah, correct, Pyra Magna and the Torchbearers, she's even a prominent character in the current Optimus Prime comic. But yeah, not originally female molds and not even changed that much from their male version.

That is maybe an indication of two more female Autobots in the wings, as Starscream has combiner ports. And Grimlock's key art shows what are clearly modified hand/feet on his arms as claw armor, so I'd say the Dinobots will combine, too.

yeah. You could do a pretty cool override out of the Jazz mold I bet. You wouldn't get the same windshield chest look, but it would be a good looking mold in those colors probably.

I suspect that if we do get 2 more they'll be out of the dreadwing/darkwing molds though. Gotta keep turning out those aerialbot remolds.

TM2 Blackarachnia was indeed the old equivalent of a voyager class figure. Nothing since, though.

Classics Dinobots finally happening, the Terrorcons, that movie 1 Brawl and Blackout; between the Marvel Legends reveals and this, Hasbro has a diamond fucking grip on my wallet.

If it was fake they would have just updated the post. Outright deleting a rumor news piece because later information reveals it to be fake is a pretty big journalism no-no. The videos about it have also been pulled, it seems Hasbro is being pretty thorough about it.

Hasbro is god on those sites. They could shut them down in a heartbeat, so if Hasbro requests something be taken down, it happens immediately. If it were fake they would have just updated it and said so. Seibertron took theirs down and deleted all discussion of it on their forums.

Trypticon was revealed and promoted pretty separately from the rest of the TR line. I wouldn't at all consider the lack of Omega Supreme or Scorponok from this leak to be any kind of indication they aren't coming. Two Titans per line seems to be the way Hasbro is rolling now, so Predaking as #1 and Scorponok as #2 for PotP seems about right.

Yeah, that's hard to argue, Sludge should be the Voyager if anything, but of course the popular one is Grimlock. I'm pretty strapped for cash lately so at least this gives me a chance to get them. Predacons are looking quite more unlikely.

I bet the female protester from the Functionist Universe was transgender, too. Crackpot theory: The Functionists decided that gender has no use within an asexually reproducing species and that's why modern Cybertron is unique in only having male Transformers.

THey likely kept it secret so the Decepticons wouldn't know about them. You gotta remember that the war was going on for a VERY long time, and the last thing you want is the Decepticons destroying any form of allegiance.

Oh I'm definitely not expecting a masterpiece or anything. Heck, being a youngin', I really don't even like the G1 cartoon (heresy, I know). It's more a part of witnessing a piece of Transformers history.

Hey I was there when G1 first aired I was in the theater for Prime's death and everything and I will say that G1 cartoon doesn't hold up now, so if your a heretic then so am I.

That said I do love Dreamwaves take on G1 as well as War With In.

There are also several third party Masterpiece Springers in the pipeline. Fanstoys Apache is looking like the most promising at the moment, but XTransbots Virtus could be a winner, too, if it matches the CG renders they've shown.
