Trials Evolution |OT| ROCK'N'ROLL TRIALS STYLE BABY

I managed to get two more golds on medium and one on hard earlier. That was my frustration limit, took about two hours

Anyone got any tips for the break every bone in a crash achievement? Any certain tracks with a good spot for it, ive purposely crashed at least once on every section I thought was good, no dice.

Walk in the Park set of Platinum done.

#53 Beachhead

#66 Moto Madness

I'm going down the list in order. I'm coming for your times Whitehawk.

I'm running into the same wall I hit in vanilla Trials, where I get up to hard and can't gold anything. I'd love to hate on the game and just say it's the fault of the flubber tires and twitchy as shit throttle, but I've seen the replays of the top players and they make it look manageable.

This is hard to say, but I'm....a casual...

I must have lucked out - I got this in my very first go on the game.

Thinking about it, that's probably nothing to be proud of...

Biggest problem here Gowan is that the creator is allowed to vote so as soon as they put a 5 star it goes straight to the top. If 3 different people voted 5 first then maybe that wouldn't be so bad but anyone can vote on theirs first to get it in the spotlight if just to get a few downloads before people vote honestly.

What RedLynx need to do is have a 'New Additions' for tracks with both no downloads and no votes. 10 people might download the track and never finish it so they won't be able to vote, but after a day or two the track is removed from the 'New Additions' section. $0.02
Yeah they need to require a vote minimum or something. Gota be plenty of solutions of there. At the mo Highest Rated is just not as it should be and wasted.

I have gold on beginner, easy, medium (almost) and first set of hard tracks. For some reason I just can't do the giga track gold :/

Starting to get Platinums now. Getting plat on mind bender felt good.

Managed to unlock the extreme tracks and I fucking suck at this game so they really didn't go out of their way to lock things down. I'm fine with that, I wanted to see Inferno 3 at least. Maybe I'll hunt down those squirrels now.

I've been trying this for the last few hours. You can maybe have one fault, possibly two, before you don't have enough time to complete and have to restart. I managed it in just over 8mins with 3 faults I think. The climb halfway through always gets me because of the little parts that throw your bike off it's angle. Goddamn I'm raging inside just thinking about it!

Nah, you've got plenty of time, it just depends where you fault. Some faults can cost you 15-20 seconds or more because of how far away the checkpoints are.

The editor is something else.
I have so many ideas for it, but it just requires too much time and devotion and i don't think i'll ever finish any of my projects. Could really use mouse + keyboard too.

I haven't played with advanced commands a lot yet, but i think you could trick the game into working in free roam mode, allowing steering left and right.

The engine is quite impressive too. I haven't seen any other game deal with a similar amount of dynamic shadowing from multiple sources and global illumination; Maybe Alan Wake, but Trials does that on vast, open detailed landscapes and at 60fps.

Yeah it's reasonable. I was pretty much at the point of just throwing myself at the obstacle by the time I'd gotten to 500. On the other hand, now I'm really daunted to try again because there was another jump before that one that took me around 100 to get by as well. So now I have to try to get past that first really difficult one just to get back to where I was stuck.

Blegh, maybe just some multiplayer for now and I'll come back to it later.

the beauty of it all is that you were learning the whole time, even if it didnt feel like it. go back and try some easier stuff then come back to the track. little by little all will become easier.

Multiplayer is a mess. I try to find matches online with a friend of mine, it tries to connect to players and fails to connect 9 out of 10 times. And when it does connect to other players some people can't click on ready. And in the end everybody gets kicked out of the lobby.

Eh yeah. This is giving me quite the headache.

I gave up at that part after like 200 tries.

Learn to blip the throttle to stabilize the bike on the lower part. Them forward, back, forward n the stick while hitting the gas to do a bunny hop onto the upper board. Again stabilize it there the go up to black bit while seated back. As you come up, start to lean forward and get off the gas. This will bring the front end over the top.

The triple boards in inferno 3 will likely give people the most grief through, I'd imagine.

i've gotten to the triple boards and almost passed them. that climb in the sin city level though is a bitch. there was something like it in trials HD but you didnt have to land a jump to the first spot.

EDIT: on the challenge where you flap your wings the replays on the leader board show people hammering on the L trigger. why? also are you supposed to mash x/y together or alternate them?

you can also overjump the lower panel if you take the full way to speed up, so you "just" have to land on the top panel and try to accelerate from there.

Uhm someone please tell me how i can activate a slider physics joint with an area trigger or otherwise with the bike? Please?

Edit
Nevermind i figured it out sweet:)

I was just thinking last night that they feel more so in my case. Been quite a few scrapes I somehow bungled my out of and back on track that i was sure I was going to crash on.

The slightest little knock on your head is a crash now, whereas in HD you could roll around on your head for ages. It's definitely noticeable.

I only had a about 15 minutes with it last night. That's kind of a bummer.

It definitely needed changing from HD because that was a bit silly, but it does feel like they've gone slightly too far the other way now.

Still, I shouldn't really be tapping my head on ramps anyway, it's my own fault!
