Trouble with 360/Windows Media Connect

For some reason, Windows Media Connect has been completely able to identify my Xbox 360 on my network. Everything's hooked up to a Linksys switch (not a hub), including two computers in the house. The Windows Media Connect install goes fine until it tries to "authorize" my 360, and then it stalls, saying it cannot detect the machine on the network. It is my switch? Do I need to go out and buy a cheap router? Any ideas? :(

Like I said in that other thread, it's probably your .NET framework that needs updating. I had the same problem until I updated the .NET framework to the 1.1 version. Afterwards, I reinstalled PC Connect, and then no problems.

.NET thingy is an optional download in the Windows update.

It worked for me!
