This is a very, very bad indicator for Trump. Romney was all about this in 2012 and he got beat handily.

The silent majority is a term from the 1960s that was fairly accurate. Amidst the bluster and bombastics of 1960s protest movements, a "silent majority" of Americans supported Nixon, Kennedy/LBJ & Vietnam, and other noteworthy issues.

I don't think it's accurate today, especially when regarding Trump, who if he has anything, it's an outspoken, loud, obnoxious minority. If there is a silent majority today, it support Hillary Clinton.
