A coworker, who isn't big on Trump necessarily, just said the other day "Why do we let people come into this country that just want to kill us?" And said that Trump had that right at least.
All Muslims are lumped in with terrorists to a lot of people.
Most of these people have never known an actual Muslim so they are all the scary other.

During Christmas me and my cousins all got matching beanies with mouth covers so it all looked like we had beards. We all posed for a picture and one of my uncles kept yelling terrorists. I wanted to punch him.

I suspect this will get the least push back unfortunately
without a doubt his people have some sort of military action in the cards.
They likely believe it's the best way to hang on to a second term if (when) things go badly.

Ya know, this is just everything that the people who voted for him want. A few months ago when the Access Hollywood tapes came out, people who are Trump supporters kept sharing the meme on Facebook "When you're Christmas shopping and your family gets shot up by terrorists let in the country, remember Trump said 'pussy'".

I'm so sorry, America.
I was at Canadian Tire with my kids last summer (here in Canada, obviously) and as we walked past the bike section a young Muslim girl stopped us and asked my permission to use my kids to help measure bike helmets.
An unusual request for sure, but she explained that what she was doing was buying bike helmets to give to Syrian families who had recently come into Canada. She didn't know what to buy but it just so happened she figured my kids looked the right age and the right size to help her pick out the right thing.
To this day the humanity of the situation brings tears to my eyes. I was so proud of my kids. I was so proud of this young lady. It's terribly sad what's happening to these poor Syrian families but it filled me with so much strength and hope to see the good that was possible from something that most of us probably take for granted.
Please, do whatever you can to stop this madness.

Telling lies about immigrants, voting, other countries, democrats, the media, etc won't do it. His alt-right followers are lost causes, his blue collar followers on the other hand would turn on him only when they see a lie that affects them, that they know to be false.
The main most likely example would be him giving a speech and preemptively claiming that he has made America great again and brought back everyone's job and saved the day, but a blue collar guy watching, who has lost his health insurance and still has no promised manufacturing job, and says "Hang on, that's not true, what about me? Or my neighbors?".
That would put a hole in their infallible image of Trump. Some will brush it off as "Well maybe it's coming soon!", others might start questioning if they were duped as he suddenly becomes yet another politician telling them America is doing great, while they continue to suffer in reality.

We had a coworker who was a Syrian refugee. He had to go to Lebanon to finish out the process since he wanted to come here as a doctor, but I fear he may now be stuck over there if he has to apply for a new visa to come back and complete the process
We also have a very large Somali refugee population here. I believe maybe the largest, or close to it. Lots of families will be in a lurch.

How many refugees did america let in anyways? Its peanuts in comparison to the guilt the US bears for destabilizing the region (in particular due to the iraq invasion)
