The Executive Branch has a considerable amount of authority when it comes to controlling border access to the United States. Congressional approval is simply unnecessary for such an action.

I wonder how many of these orders it's going to take before they get refused/ignored/legally challenged. Republicans were taking Obama to court over executive orders. There has got to be a point where they force Trump to initiate votes in Congress instead of acting like a dictator. Even if you agree with his policies, this way of governing will over time erode Congress' authority, which would be bad for America overall.
At this point, I doubt there are any Trump voters left on GAF. At least any willing to answer this.

At that point I would expect either a quick impeachment, a relatively benign coup, or straight up violent revolt, though. It's probably impeachment, hopefully.
However, Trump's short presidency will be a remarkable entry in the history books on the 'wtf was that' scale.
