According to the Baltimore Sun, Trump was irritated to learn that the current Deputy Attorney General is from Baltimore and is unhappy with him:

July 19, 2017

President Donald J. Trump told the New York Times that he is unhappy with Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, telling the newspaper he was ”irritated" to learn he was from Baltimore.

In a wide-ranging interview with the Times published online Wednesday, Trump said he would not have appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions had he known Sessions would recuse himself from overseeing an investigation into his campaign's ties with Russia. A special counsel appointed by Rosenstein is now examining the matter.

But the article said Trump also ”expressed discontent" with Rosenstein, a former federal prosecutor in Baltimore and Maryland U.S. Attorney. Rosenstein was born in Philadelphia.

”When Mr. Sessions recused himself, the president said he was irritated to learn where his deputy was from," the New York Times article said. It quoted Trump saying ”There are very few Republicans in Baltimore, if any."

Rosenstein won bipartisan support earlier this year when he was confirmed to the No. 2 spot in the U.S. Department of Justice, and has presented himself as apolitical.

They were trying to grab your prize. They work for the mercenary. The masked man.
If it makes him feel better, Mueller is from New York. :)

Mind you, Trump nominated Rosenstein for his current job. Goes to show how much he pays attention to what he signs off on

How this man has friends is beyond me. He's just total piece of shit to literally everybody. Great choice, Republicans.

BRO YOU'RE FROM NEW YORK CITY

Trump is going to hate anyone who is investigating him for corruption.

So, naturally, he hates all IC departments, the DoJ, the House and Senate Intel committees and anyone else associated with it.

And he hates Jeff for recusing himself and not burying it outright.

Probably the most unpatriotic president we've had. He literally outright says he doesn't like these cities or care for the citizens living within them. It's unbelievable.

Baltimore needs to update their slogan from "Greatest City in America" to "There are very few Republicans in Baltimore, if any." - Donald Trump 2017/07/19

Wear that with distinction.

This is the worst president of all time. Everyone who voted for him has bad judgement.

Can't be said enough. Each and every one of his voters, from the vocal ones to the really quiet ones lurking here on GAF. Bad judgment, willful ignorance, plain ole spite. Whatever the reasoning, it is, and forever shall be, unjustifiable.

He is God awful but not worst ever
That's just because he hasn't enough time or opportunity to do anything yet to cement the status. Normally I blow off these statements as hyperbolic, but he's been so stupendously bad that if he's not THE worst he's at least had the worst temperament by far. I'd be morbidly curious to see a stack of actions by other presidents that have been as outright crass, stupid, or outright pathetic as his have been.

Seriously, if he's not worst that's going to be because limits of his power and attempts at damage control worked combined with how inept he and his administration have been, and that's still arguably worst for being that damn bad at the job.

Paradoxically, he is such the worst president ever that it impedes his ability to fully exceed those who would otherwise hold the title.
Yeah, short version of what I was trying to get at (well, part of it.) He's going to be the worst president by at least one measure, even if he fails to accomplish anything it just means he is THAT politically inept. And if he manages to kill the ACA without any real replacement coming in, well, then he just condemned millions of Americans to death or at least poor health over sheer fucking ego rather than competently evaluating if this can be rationalized at all for the American people.

That's delightfully contrarian, but you do realize this man's campaign isn't just being investigated for possible treason by colluding with a hostile foreign power but also doing a worse job mounting a professional/logical defense than would be expected from a junior high student council, yes?

I take it you aren't well versed in past president's (not in our lifetime)

At least other bad Presidents did something and left a legacy for better or worse. Trump hasn't done shit in office despite his party having full control of all three branches of government which is beyond amazing when you really think about it. You would have expected at least one landmark bill at this point in time.

Trump will be one of the worst ever because he's fucking incompetent on all levels. The past six months has perfectly shown that he's way out of his league. He should consider lucky there hasn't been a major crisis during his presidency yet.

I mean we can wait two months until they fail to pass a budget... and probably don't bother to raise the debt cieling.

(Colonialism aside) You forgot to outline how Calvin Coolidge being lazy or Andrew Jackson being a mean asshole equals or surpasses the possibility of selling out the nation's voting system, the bedrock of our democracy, to a rival superpower and having the hubris to willfully feign a childlike ignorance that anybody with a google search bar could prove wrong.

Neither of them are the worst either. I'm not defending trump, he is a piece of shit and already one of the worst presidents of all time

Not quite yet, just hilariously ineffective at getting anything on his shitty agenda done.
He's the leader of the party that controls every branch of the US government and they still can't do anything. The democrats could at least say they were being blocked at times.
