I remember that pretty much every personal website and small business was using a banner ad system in '97-'99 or so...It was centralized, and you didn't get paid jack for it.

Anyone remember it? Or the name?

LinkExchange sounds familiar, but I'm not sure.

I remember using a large banner system around that time. Can't remember the name though. Shit, I can't even remember the name of the site I was helping run at that point.
