Hey Gaf,
Just wondering if this can be fixed or I have to live with it.
It seems when I play games or watch a standard pre-taped tv show or a tv commercial, the audio syncs fine with the video (lips)
When I watch live sports, almost all the time, there is a delay of some kind so the voices and video are slightly off (intermission/half-time analysts talking). Is this an issue on my end? Or the TV channel's end?
If it helps, here's my hook up:
4k cable box ---> 4k HDMI ---> direct to TV
4k Xbox X ---> 4k HDMI ---> direct to TV
Optical cable from TV to home theatre system. It used to be an HDMI through eArc, but my Sony TV had an OS problem so eArc bombed. I heard it's fixed so I might retry HDMI again one of these day.
