I'm glad they added Nothing in the Dark back into the rotation. They went too long without showing it.

Except for One for the Angels, where
he decides to kill a young girl because an old man tricked him into letting him live.

I think he knew
that he wasn't gonna let the girl die
and was pulling one over on him the whole time

Really enjoying the marathon this year, it's been a long while since I've watched Twilight Zone.

They also cut one of the most pivotal scenes in the episode where the Sun is coming toward the Earth.

What was cut from that episode? I hadn't seen it before, but I really liked it.

There's two main characters in the episode. One of them just disappears during a commercial break.
She dies in the other character's arms after being briefly happy seeing that she painted a cool painting for her of a waterfall.
It's a major part of the buildup to the ending.

Most powerful part of the episode ruined. It's inexcusable.

Please tell me I'm wrong and my TV just fucked up.

Same here, its years since Ive watched any. Theres even a few this year I feel Ive never seen, particularly the one with Robert Duval.

I want to go to Willoughby.

Nope, they've cut eps to show more commercials.

Always love

The Odyssey of Flight 33

such a great ep!

So if some moment, any moment, you hear the sound of jet engines flying atop the overcast—engines that sound searching and lost—engines that sound desperate—shoot up a flare or do something. That would be Global 33 trying to get home—from The Twilight Zone.

telly savalas was awesome in Living Doll. Which is in my top 5.

That ending always gives me chills!

It really annoys me that there is absolutely no way to watch this show here in Sweden (except for buying it on DVD, maybe?). Sucks.

Watching most of these episodes for the first time on Netflix.

Just watched "Walking Distance".

"Walking Distance" has continued to be one of the most popular and critically acclaimed of all Twilight Zone episodes.

Definitely deserved.

The Silence is on right now. This is the first episode of The Twilight Zone that I remember ever seeing. The cable company we had at the time added Sci-Fi Channel and something else to their lineup around 1995 or 96 and did a weekend preview of the channels. The Twilight Zone was on during that weekend and The Silence was the episode they were showing that day.

Edit: It's a Good Life is on. Looks like tonight they're going to play the episodes that lost last night.

"It's a Good Life" is on right now.

They actually used part of the opening monologue for this episode in the preshow for Tower of Terror.

Tonight's story on The Twilight Zone is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. This, as you may recognize,is a map of the United States, and there's a little town there called Peaksville maintenance service elevator. Still in operation. Waiting for you.

I didn't know until a few years ago that the mom in It's a Good Life was Cloris Leachman. It blew my mind when I found that out. She has been old as long as I can remember. That was the first thing I've seen her in where she was young.
