Twitch: Changes To Audio In VODS

I dislike Polygon so Im actually not all that happy that it came from them, but maybe it will get some of the hardheaded people to stop shouting at the top of their lungs and listen. Its absolutely necessary, and no amount of complaining will change that. Its either comply with the law of close your website down. They can and will make the processes for identifying content better, but the idea of being able to use any content you want on VODs and possibly even streaming is dead period. No amount of jumping from sinking raft(website) to raft will ever change that.

We can still blame the music industry for being too aggressive and incredibly short-sighted in everything they do that just bullies other industries. Yes, the law is unavoidable but the music industry has a strong grip over everything, that frankly, is making it impossible to do a lot of things without them getting involved to shut something down or mute everything. Even things that are not theirs which just infringes on others rights from smaller groups who can't fight back.

I've just grown sick of it.

The article didn't seem to mention the safe harbor provisions in copyright law...
From Wikipedia
DMCA safe harbor, which shields online service providers from liability for facilitating their users' copyright infringement as long as they comply with certain requirements, such as accepting "take down" notices.

Something that could easily be done manually, I would love to see if they are actually getting notices or is this just fit the narrative of twitch shaping up to get bought by Google

Youtube Exporter is beyond broken right now. It either fails straight away, or fails on file conversion as youtube doesn't like the video twitch uses. :\

Yeah. The time given for everyone to back up their stuff is just too short even if that was working properly. It's just stupid to do this crap without warning and now everyone will possibly be losing huge chunks of their archives. =/
