You are right, I forgot that Rocky was a Latino and Adam an asian, at least as a child from south america who didn't know that much about racial diversity, Rocky never looked that latino compared to people here and I associated asians more with Trini than with Adam

Before Frank got brought in as the Green Ranger, he was going to star in another localized sentai show by Saban - footage that eventually got rolled into VR Troopers.

That was not Saban's fault, that was showrunner Jonathan Tzachor. He didn't want to do the big crossover, but Bandai & marketing told him to do it since the Gokaiger Legend War went viral, so he threw it together at the last minute and it was so lazy and bad. The worst part is brought back Koichi Sakamoto to direct it, but it doesn't show. Most of the battle was stock footage.

Megaforce & Super Megaforce were a complete disaster. No surprise that Tzachor was fired.

Thuy Trang (Yellow Ranger/Trini Kwan)

Thuy Trang's family fled from Vietnam in the mid-'70s to start a new life in the United States, and after an early acting career in commercials she landed the role of Yellow Ranger Trini Kwan in 1993. She spent one-and-a-half seasons on the show before leaving at the same time as Austin St John and Walter Emanuel Jones.

Roles in The Crow: City of Angels and Spy Hard followed, but Trang tragically died in a car accident in 2001. Her Power Rangers co-stars Amy Jo Johnson, Austin St John, David Yost and Walter Emanuel Jones all attended her funeral.

Machiko Soga (Rita Repulsa)

The Power Rangers' first and most recognisable villain was actually dubbed over from the Super Sentai show on which it was based. Japanese actress Machiko Soga portrayed the villain Bandora in Super Sentai, and the footage of her was used by the American show.

Her last role was in the PS2 video game The Space Sheriff Spirits in 2006, shortly after which she died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 68.

Footage of her was used to portray a reformed Rita in Power Rangers: Mystic Force in honour of the actress's place in Power Rangers history.
