Is it something to do with the implementation/set up of unblockable ad's which is ruining the stream? Never seen a Twitch marathon break so much.
I don't get the point of those ads

This whole marathon is an ad for the movie, why the hell do we need to see ads inside the ad?

I mean if you think about it and consider how low budget this show really was with how they already had to edit footage from the Japanese show and what they made themselves and on top of that having 3 of the main cast sudden gone its amazing they even attempted to make this into an arc to explain why the old cast was 'gone' and introduce the new cast.

They really could have shown some quick footage of those 3 getting attacked, say they were too hurt to continue and just suddenly introduce these 3 new characters and just forced it down on kids throats but at least they did try to make it seem like a smooth transition over a big multi-episode arc. I'm not saying it actually was but at the very least they made an attempt with what they had to work with.

They often did that on this show. Billy (not as a ranger though), got a similar send-off in Zeo.

I know I sound like a broken record, but for me. Once Tommy was gone I just stopped. plus I think i kinda moved on so to speak. Getting exposed to different things.

My problem is that the ending to Turbo and then In Space should have belonged to the original crew. And by original, I simply mean that Tommy, Adam and Kat should have been there until the end of Turbo.

Instead we get a bunch of noobs for the epic ending to the story.

Yeah, they handled it better than Super Sentai did when a similar situation came up in the 80's.

Yeah it was weird to have the entire cast sans Bulk and Skull get replaced. Even Zordon.

Yeah, it was far from perfect but at least they somewhat respected how liked the characters were

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
Season 2 goes downhill when they start doing a bunch of multi-parters that did not need to be multiple parts.
I know this was when the show aired M-F instead of every week but even binging it the pacing was off and was clear it didn't need to be 2-3 parts,
