Saban and Nick want more crossover, so they prefer to have two female rangers. To fix this in Dino Charge, they played up Purple to alleviate the issue.

Green is the only female in the base five of Kyuranger (on the right). So either they play up Pink, or shift Yellow over to female in the American adaptation: Red is outright not happening, Blue and Black are too offshoot to possibly be female. Honestly, it'd be interesting for them to try something different there.

There are 2 new episodes premiering on Nickelodeon tomorrow at noon with the Ninja Steel Gold Ranger's debut, if that interests you. But to be honest, Ninja Steel has been pretty bad so far. So it's best you just don't watch it.

How about they just translate over the suit actors? That's four people less of casting and flying out to NZ. All you need to do is VA work and that's easy dirt cheap. Bonus is using Sentai footage for said characters too.
