Learning Cut took hours. Using it only took minutes.

Took 4 hours to LEARN cut, but they used it on the tree pretty much immediately after.

Yeah there is no official way to do that currently but apparently they are working on it, so Hitbox will be better for this when it's up.

No, it's something I rigged up my self using a mIRC script. I'm working on the input display at the moment. I got mIRC to write the inputs to a file, but I need text editor that will automatically refresh text files...
