I can respect this actually. It IS kinda dumb. I can't stand to focus on watching it for more than 10 or 20 minutes.

I initially thought I would turn it on just for a few to laugh at the chaos, then be done with it. That was last Thursday. Now I'm checking this thread all day, and leaving the stream on in the background at home, glancing at it once in a while.

It's fun for a reason that a lot of entertainment is; it creates a narrative. The interface creates adversity for what seems like an easy goal (I mean most of us succeeded at this when we were ~10, right?). Everyone can feel like they're playing some small part. The conflict leads to this weird meta-story, then the participation element leads to community. It's good, goofy entertainment to keep checking on how progression occurs.

This says everything I wanted to say about it. It's a big success and I'm glad it came to be. I can't remember wanting to cheer at a game in a long time, let alone Pokemon. The culture that already spawned from it is amazing as we'll.

Blue did not get Eevee. No need to due to Squirtle starter. They did get Lapras but it is in the PC (I thought you couldn't auto-send Lapras though...) along with accident safari catches (safari zone took about 40 attempts, 2 attempts ran out of steps right by the teeth, another dug out a few steps from the surf HM).

The are pros with the Pokedolls though. Used on Snorlax and Marrowak (skipping silph scope which is one reason they are so far ahead).
