So in the end we got everyone back except Dr. Hoot and Shuckie. They were replaced by a Raticate and Onix.

We now have a level 33 Onix and a Raticate (lvl 28 or 30) in our party in place of Shuckie and Hoot Hoot. Onix is fantastic because it will evolve (Helix willing) to Steelix at level 35 in this romhack.

Ugh, we had Espeon in a good lead position to spam Bite against the Physic team, but then we chose Tail Whip. Hopefully next time Espeon can get some kills to level up and spare LazorGator some pain.

Looking ahead, Espeon learns Psychic at level 47 (38 currently) if we don't mess it up, which will considerably raise his threat level. And Katie to Dragonite at 55 (31 currently). We may beat the Elite Four before either of those things happen (if not for lol Lance), but the party will be in good shape for Kanto with (hopefully): Gator, Pidgeot,, Espeon, Dragonite, Steelix, X (Raticate should be replaced with something).

Pretty high. I think it's doable now. The hard part will be beating Red.

Yep, a lot of problems with Koga. If we can get Espeon to sweep Will we can still have a fullish team against Koga, them's our best odds. I have to say, he's way tougher now than he was as a gym leader (and dear lord is he better than Bruno).
