The post game is worth it though. PWT is best post game feature introduced in the series as far as I'm concerned.

I'd say to set this run apart from all the other runs. I mean, it's a whole new region and all new pokes, so why not a different gender? It will probably all devolve when we get a new fossil though

What's the GAF consensus on starter choice? I need your guidance on how to vote. I get everyone wants May but all three Gen III starters are so good (except sorta for Treeko) it's hard to know who to choose.
I'm feeling Mudkipz > Torchic > Treeko.
I really shouldn't seeing how much stuff I had to do but I think I'll get back into this for Emerald even though I missed most of Crystal. I'll at least watch the start because my parents took me to the pub and I got drunk for free and I haven't got anything else to do with my Friday night. Plus Emerald >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Crystal.

I think Treeko would be ideal considering we have yet to pick a plant type and it would match our all-reptile theme. Who cares about viability when we'll probably screw up the move set and/or release him anyway?

He makes Brendan wear the hat to prevent the voices from getting to him.
Keep in mind Gen 3 by and large had the most alien species repurposed as Pokemon, including Lunatone, Solrock, Jirachi and Deoxys.
