True, at the end of the day, Twitch needs to make the decision as to what they want their platform to represent. I don't care about any of this cause I'm neither a teenager nor a pathetic twenty-something. With that said, I can see the perspective of people that don't want Twitch to represent this stuff.If you ask them its all a matter of „choice“.
Games: Devs are implementing sexy characters to cater to „perverted white male“ gamers is a sign of male dominance and objectification.
Streamers: sexy and body positive of their own design is a sign of female empowerment
The fact that both are a thing due to the same target audiance and for the same reasons somehow eludes them.
The whole situation is all but a matter of perspective made up for the sake of argument.
