One tweet about NFL tax breaks causes Goodell to issue a memo for players to stand etc. You think twitter is going to ban him and invite what would happen next? Rose McGowan is expendable. I honestly even said to my friends yesterday. Weinstein everyone has found to scapegoat for Hollywood but no way was Ben Affleck and all the others going to tolerate being blamed for anything and bam, Rose is suddenly silenced. Yeah that seems strange. Why put enforcement of the rules in the hands of the alleged offender? It's not like I can't go and view her timeline right now. If the tweets are still there, that's a strange policy for removing content that violates rules. If the tweets are somehow hidden but waiting deletion from McGowan, then what's the point? Why not just delete?

I don't think it's too many tweets, but too tweets with multiple reports from multiple users in a short space of time.

It's algorithmic, but the gamergoobers have long, long since figured out how to game it to suspend people they don't like. Because algorithmic moderation does not, and can not, ever work.

(I'm afraid I go back here to not understanding why Gaf wants Twitter to moderate more, because Twitter cannot, and will not, ever be able to do this correctly. Ever. If they attempt to do more, they will mess up more).

I've also seen some reports which I don't know if are true that Rose McGowan posted Lindsey Lohan's private mobile number and that's why it was suspended. I don't know if that's true. But I'd have a bit more sympathy for Twitter if it were true.
