The DS one gives me a Cave Story-ish vibe.

I poked through it slightly, I only see an animation where he turns around (which I haven't noticed him do normally), and a similar animation called "rock"...

There's also an error.html page in the same directory it points to, but that's all I saw.

Same error link for the PSP version, and the only thing I see offhand besides refences to "forest" and "fall" is a rain shower I haven't seen happen yet, but maybe that's just a reward for the patient or something.

There have been recent rumours that Brownie Brown is working on Mother 3. Besides that, I think Mother 3 was practically promised for GBA, so it seems unlikely a third party would be making it for DS... the character does look quite similar though.

The sequence went First Blood, Rambo, Rambo 3. It's kind of confusing if you treat Rambo as Rambo 2, and Earthbound as Earthbound 2

MMV's site has Nushi Tsuri and an 'original rpg' listed on their to-do list for the DS. I'm just grasping at straws, but the Kite No Bokuen river king game (GBC) started out in a classroom :lol
