What a joke. I predicted he'd beat Wladimir and I was super happy with his performance but everything ever since has been a shitshow. He turned out to be a bigot and can't go two months without getting busted for gear or drugs. His talented is not up for debate but god damn, this kid needs to grow up. I absolutely enjoy trash talking personalities like him and Haye, but homophobia and blatant drug abuse are something else.

Guess he'll be back eventually but this sure leaves a sour taste in my mouth after having followed his career from day 1 and rooting for him even though he punched himself in the face once and looked bad at multiple occasions (vs. Pajkic and Cunningham). He does deserve a second chance but I'm done with him for now.

edit: j/k, he changed his mind.

Your own link says he reversed his decision to retire
However the 28-year-old then released another tweet three hours later which reversed his decision.

“Hahahaha u think you will get rid of the GYPSYKING that easy!!! I’m here to stay. #TheGreatest just shows u what the Medea are like. Tut tut,” he wrote.

The Heavyweight divions is a joke and in shambles to decades past and has been for some time now.

The article you posted says that he's not retiring, changing his mind three hours after announcing he was.

Oh indeed. I just looked for the latest Fury article on a reputable source as media in my country is reporting he's done. Oh well, I should have had a closer look.

I mean, criticise the media for several reasons, but not for them reporting on your saying you're retired and then going "HAHA FOOLED YOU FUCKING MEDIA LOLOLOL".

Can't get stripped of the titles soon enough.

he keeps doing it..

Eh, that's kind of an outdated outlook on the division. Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua are all young talents that are interesting prospects that the division hasn't seen in some time.

If Fury didn't hold the fucking titles hostage, I'd agree. Wlad vs Joshua would be a nice fight though.

He's sitting on a huge win (one of the best in the sport in recent years) and I think he's reasoned that he has much more to gain from sitting on that win than he does from fighting and risking losing or even simply looking bad in victory.

That or he is simply crazy, lol.

It's the second one. He spells media as medea.

This gigantic fuckwit is doing the sport of Boxing no favours.

I don't usually wish injury on people in sports, but I really wish his next opponent beats the ever-living shit out of him... but then again, the twat won't fight anyone.

Fury beats everyone in the division, I'm sorry

lol guy's hilarious, literally doesn't give a shit

I met him once in a bar in Lancaster, was happy to take a picture with me and a couple of friends even though we were being a right pain in the arse

You call them interesting but I call most of them a bore to watch. Many of the matches even including guys like the klitschko were never much fun to watch. Its a bunch of huge dudes plodding around the ring, hugging it out and while they throw some big ass punches its at a pace that puts me to sleep. I'm not expecting every fighter to come out like Tyson but after a while I'd rather just watch a lighter weight class.

Klitschko was the most boring heavyweight champ in history. Anyone is an improvement, he just hid behind his reach for most of his reign.

All of the guys I mentioned are considerably more athletic, fast, mobile and active than Klitschko though. Especially Anthony Joshua.
