I hated Ubi's attempt at humour in Fenyx Rising as well. So many contemporary/ pop-culture references and sexual innuendos that were completely at odds with the rest of the game. Especially considering it's supposed to be kid friendly?

I enjoyed the game but that aspect of it was easily the worst. I can't remember the last time I played a Ubi game where I was impressed by the writing tbh.

I’ve not played a lot of their games*, but the humor in Watch Dogs 2 mostly worked for me. But I’m playing Far Cry 4 recently, and holy shit is the radio DJ annoying. Maybe that’s the point since real life talk show DJs are at least 90% trash in my experience but still annoying to deal with especially since he repeats so much shit.

*in terms of their usual open world stuff. I have played Beyond Good and Evil, Rayman Origins/Legends, and Child of Light but they’re different than their usual fare

It's not awful. As long as you aren't borderlands or anything gearbox does then you can't be that bad.
