To be fair, it's harder to attack the "celeb culture" when a) you're part of it and thus b) you're going to meet lots of people in the "celeb culture", some of which may express a disagreement with your "attacks" by having a impromptu meeting between their fist and your nads.
Got a date for the games show. I'll be explaining 'How Videogames Changed the World' on C4, Sat 30th Nov from 9pm.
Matt Lees (GAF's own jam_sponge, and the man behind the PS4 Abridged videos) is the show's main writer.
Ergo, this is probably going to be wonderfully daft.
So that will be 4pm EST. I'll check it out if I find a stream.

God damn, Brooker looks so old now.
GamesWipe was probably like the first thing in a while to acknowledge there are games outside of Call of Duty and Mario. Baby steps.

If only that push Myleene Klass into a canal game was real.
Having never heard of him before today and my introduction to him being his completely daft quote about bosses, this does not leave me very interested to hear what he has to say.

I feel for Brooker in that clip. It's like trying to get my parents in to videogames, they get impatient and fail to see the point. Perhaps they're right! But nohttp://www.channel4.com/news/charlie-brooker-jon-snow-games-ps4-playstation-video

This documentary uses three games (Fez, Meat Boy and Braid), each at a different stage of development, to explore the pressures and rewards for independent game designers.
Forget this Saturday show, I'd just watch a series of Charlie teaching Jon Snow about video games. I was pretty much laughing non-stop when they started playing Lego Marvel.http://www.channel4.com/news/charlie-brooker-jon-snow-games-ps4-playstation-video

I really like how he explained how videogames can get a point across in ways that other media cannot. Specially with Papers, Please.
I feel like he could have talked about Folding Home in PS3 and games like Journey, but I'm very confident he is going to do great with his show.
An America hater?! On this, our greatest day?!
...I'll give it a watch.
