What I want to know is what problem does the current Republican model have with a speaker that shares their same views of foreigners and homosexuals? *ZING!* :lol

Ultimate Warrior rocked. Shame he went crazy, and is only playable is shitty wrestling games. :(

YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A NORMAL! YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO BREATHE THE SAME AIR AS HULK HOGAN AND MYSELF.

Seems odd that it was barely 15 years ago that he was where Batista is now...

Damn, wish I could've seen this, Warrior is absolutely crazy. Every time Raw comes up here, which is like once a year, we have one of the wrestler's speaking. This year it was Batista, I couldn't go but the student paper said it was a good speech and he's very well spoken and a good guy. I forget who spoke last year, it might've been Big Show, but damn, nothing as crazy as Warrior. I should ask some friends at UCONN if they saw it.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you meant he was grounded in reality, when he isn't in the intellectual sense, but in the sense that he's in the middle of things, like talk shows and on college campuses. I see now.

As in, unfortunately, he's a part of our reality.

That sure was an interesting video. Thanks for posting it. Wish I could see what the Q&A was like though.

It doesn't seem like such a big deal, just a few people yelling some things. Hardly what I'd consider nearly triggering a riot. He just went on and finished his speech. Have hippies ever rioted anyway? :lol

Hardly what I'd consider nearly triggering a riot.

The riot probably went something along the lines of this:

1) Someone asks Warrior a thought-provoking question laden with words over 3 syllables.
2) Warrior starts shaking.
3) Warrior then stomps his feet and starts yelling.

And that is how the crazy libruls rioted the event into chaos.

It seems to me the Warrior is a fan of taking a bunch words that normally might mean something, combining them all together to form sentences that mean absolutely nothing.

Even now, I listen to the Ultimate Warrior's entrance music in shame.

Ahahah, go 35 minutes into it...pretty good stuff! His reaction is hilarious!

The first 35 minutes are nothing. Watch the rest... pretty disgusting.

But funny. :lol

I think Warrior would be a lot better as an inspirational/motivational speaker.

Oh, and while I'm here, I fairly well understand the Warrior's position on the commandments, his stance on Hulk smashing, and his impassioned theories on the dissolution of the MegaPowers. I also am impressed by his C.V. as it applies to shaking the ropes, shouting incoherencies at "Mene Gene" Oakerlund, and his wealth of accumulated experience issuing the Warrior splash to lesser mortals.

Can someone, however, enlighten me as to the man's political experience that a college would drop some coin to have him speak on government and its various factions?

I would have liked to have seen the questions and answers, too.

He doesn't just call himself Warrior though...his name has been legally changed. Additionally, it's also his family name. So, his wife's name is "Dana Warrior" and his kids are named "Indiana and Mattigan Warrior."

He's a fucking nut.

:lol :lol :lol

I understand the trademark implications, and I'm all for wrestlers owning those names as opposed to the company. But Jesus Christ, using it for the family name? Dana Warrior? Indiana Warrior? :lol Come the fuck on.

It bears mentioning that Warrior demonstrated considerable restraint given the disrespectful and petulant behavior of a small minority of the students. These individuals unwittingly illustrated one of the most pernicious truths of modern liberalism: that while self-described liberals claim, ad nauseum, that they support freedom of speech, the truth is that they only support free speech as long as the content of that speech is acceptable to them. The moment that a single word is spoken that questions, challenges, or otherwise conflicts with their myopic, misguided views of the world, their enthusiasm for the First Amendment totally disappears.

That point is right on the money...except of course that he promotes heavily in that piece the idea that being liberal/left wing is somehow equal to being anti-American. And how was what you said mischarterized? Either you said the shit or you didn't.

Can't have it both ways dickwad.

The burnt flag line was classic though. :lol

You say this as if this talent is unique.

I wonder if they played his original WWE theme tune when he entered the lecture hall. Maybe they put some ropes up for him to shake furiously. I'd have probably marked for that...

:lol

That press release is just too hilarious. That guy may be a heartless nutjob, but he sure knows his funny. Actually, being heartless nutjob is in good part what makes him funny. :lol

"You are nothing but a normal, you don't deserve to breathe the same air that I and Hulk Hogan do. Hulk Hogan, I must ask you now as you asked me, do you Hulk Hogan want your ideas, your beliefs to live forever? For Hulk Hogan in this normal world, physically none of us can live forever. But the places you have taken the Hulkamaniacs, the ideas and beliefs that you have given them can live through me Hulk Hogan. That is why I breathe, that is why the Warriors have come. Hulk Hogan there are ones that question where you are taking them. Do you no longer want to walk or step into that darkness? Hulk Hogan that darkness I speak of is nothing of fear. It is about the beliefs...of excepting any and all challenges at the cost of losing everything Hulk Hogan. You have lived Hulk Hogan for the last 5 Wrestlemania's for this one belief. Now Hulk Hogan, I come to take what you believe in, further then you ever could. I come Hulk Hogan, not to destroy the Hulkamaniacs and Hulkamania. I come Hulk Hogan to bring the Warriors and Hulkamaniacs together as one as we Hulk Hogan except all the challenges with all the strength of the Warriors and Hulkamaniacs together. Hulk Hogan the colors of the Hulkamaniacs are coming through the pores of my skin...and Hulk Hogan when we meet Hulk Hogan, I will look at you and you will realize then that I have come to do no one no harm, but only Hulk Hogan to take what we both believe in to places it shall never have been."

That was hilarious. Anyone else catch the "What about wrestling? Isn't that softcore porn?" :lol

This is wrong, is it not? Yes, they were disrespectful in not honouring his request to keep questions until afterwards (though he entertained them nevertheless, instead of discouraging more questions), but simply challenging someone is not restrictive of freedom of speech. God forbid people ask someone to substantiate what they claim.

It's when people say "You can't say that!" or "Arrest this man!" that they are not supporting freedom of speech.

He talks so much about how he'd love to fight these 'liberals' and such. How funny would it be if he picked a fight with the liberal and the liberal pounded the living shit out of him?

Edit: i wanna put something else in here without making another post.

Be forewarned liberals -- I don’t know how to pull any punch, physically or intellectually.

What?! Does he believe wrestling is real? I think his intellectual punches are thrown just like his physical ones used to be: off mark with the intent to make stupid people believe.

I was away during this whole ordeal... a buddy of mine sent me this link which is merely a snippet of the damage done.

YEAH WARRIOR!

I would, too, care to see the entire thing. If anyone has it... PM me? or perhaps repost?! Thanks!
