An unannounced licensed IP from Bethesda is being developed under the Disney banner, based on the latest rumor.
Speaking during the latest episode of The Xbox Two, co-host Shpeshal Nick mentioned that the leaked licensed IP from Bethesda is being developed under the Disney banner. He doesn’t know what Disney IP it is, however.
Mention of the licensed IP game was first leaked via the FTC vs Microsoft documents, in which it was stated that the unannounced game is slated for release during the company’s Financial Year 2024 term.
While it’s difficult to speculate as to what Disney license this new Bethesda game is based on, some possible connection may exist between it and an unannounced game from Bethesda Game Studios’ Roundhouse Studios, which is said to be based on a comic IP. Former Game Programmer at Roundhouse Studios, Shane E., had mentioned in his Linkedin profile that he had been working with a small team in Unreal Engine 4 to build an unannounced online, team-based PvPvE third-person shooter based on a major comic license. As of 2018, the game was in Alpha.
