Report: FromSoftware Deep Into Development on Unannounced Project Codenamed “FMC”

Freeroam mech combat game, with towns and NPC's to interact with, character can leave the mech to interact in towns... could be interesting if done right.

Mecha could transform into jets for aerial combat, could fly up into orbit for space combat or space station docking... could be interesting if done right.
So like Xenoblade Chronicles X (have only ever seen the trailer), only better and less cringe.

Never played it but I was just thinking if they wanted to do open world but in a way that was fresh, they could focus and look at expanding the world vertically instead of just horizontally like every other open world game. If the games setting was coastal you could even have verticality in both directions with air mecha (up) and ocean Mecha (down).

Good thing some of you don't design game. Those ideas are awful.
Insight doesn't do enough to make accumulating it worth the trouble.
Withering Rooms turned Bloodborne's insight mechanic into a means of accessing an alternate game map based on the first.
It's on par with what PS1 Castlevania does but instead of being cleanly divided the madness gradually ramps up.
Outside of Bloodborne, the next 2D Castlevania game that we've all been waiting for would benefit from using the same type of mechanic.

Here we go again
