I feel like I'm spoiling myself with the expensive aged cheeses and vintage wines of x-men comics. After reading the Whedon run of Astonishing X-men and now this, I think the other comics are going to suck.

I just got back in to comics thanks to iPad but its a clusterfuck. I did manage to get Whedon's Xmen but what the hell should I be reading? For reference, I left off X-men when Wolvering got fucked over by Magneto with the whole pulling out the adamantium.

EDIT : Depending where you stand regarding Grant Morrison, you might want to read his New X-Men run. Also Milligan's and Allred's X-Force/X-Statix is a must read.

Yeah I read Morrison's New X-men. I would have been lost with Fentomax and The World in Uncanny X-Force without it.
