Whoa, whoa, whoa, back the bus up. You mean to tell me the PS4 still has games coming out? Unbelievable.

A lot of those games won't release this year or don't even have a date.

Gravity Rush 2 on PS4 might actually be a big holiday title for them.

Was thinking it'd be either this or Tearaway.

I hope you guys don't seriously think that, they won't have any marketing push coming from Sony.

I can understand that people are upset about Uncharted delay but Sony still have a lot of exclusive this year :

Exclusive to the platform : 24 vs 7

PS4 (physical) : The Order 1886, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Tearaway unfolded, Disgaea 5, Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force, Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank, Mobil Suit Gundam, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II, Omega Quintet.

PS4 (PSN) : Rime, The Tomorrow Children, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Let it Die, Deep Down, Kill Strain, Alienation, Drawn to Death, Fat Princess : Piece of Cake, Enter the Gungeon, What Remains of Edith Finch, Wattam, Relativity, Ubusana, Onechanbara Z2.

Xbox One (physical) : Quantum Break, Halo 5, Forza Motorsport 6.

Xbox One (XBL) : Raiden V, State of Decay Year-One Survival Edition, Funk of Titans, Cup Head.

Constructor exclusive: 27 vs 4

PS4 (physical) : Dragon Quest Heroes, Persona 5, Yakuza 0, MLB The Show 15, Toukiden : Kiwami, God Eater 2 : Rage Burst, Godzilla, Senran Kagura Estival Versus, FF X/X-2 HD Remaster.

PS4 : PlanetSide 2, SOMA, Among the Sleep, Broken Age, The Witness, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Titan Souls, Starbound, Day of the Tentacle, Kingdom Under Fire II, Dungeon Defenders II, Killing Floor 2, Volume, Nuclear Throne, Hotline Miami 2 : Wrong Number, Shovel Knight, Bastion, Hatoful Boyfriend, Citizens of Earth, Moon Hunter, OlliOlli 2 : Welcome to Olliwood, Samurai Gunn, The Talos Principle, Distance, Zombie Vikings, Gang Beats, The Forest, Darkest Dungeon, Orcs Must Die Unchained, Holowpoint, Wander, Bombshell, Apotheon, Street Fighter 5, No Man's Sky, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3, Grim Fandango Remastered, Rocket League.

Xbox One : Ori and the Blind Forest, Cobalt, Lifeless Planet, Knight Squad, Plague Inc. Evolved, Massive Chalice, Silence, Wulver Blade, Dungeons and Dragons : Neverwinter, Space Engineers, SUPERHOT, #IDARB, Smite, Ghost of a Tale, Goat Simulator, Fable Legends, The Escapist, Tomb raider, Pneuma : Breath of Life.

So 90 PS4 "exclusive" games against 29 for the Xbox One, just saying.

Just one correction to this list, Fat Princess Adventures actually. Piece of Cake is a mobile/Vita game.

So is the issue that they won't have exclusive games or is the issue that they won't have games that they'll spend tons of marketing money on?

Because the former is clearly not the case and if you're trying to make an argument for the latter, then that's just a silly argument.

I still have a feeling this game will be holidays 2016. Basing this on nothing but pessimism and the rocky development and staffing at ND over the past year or so.

On a side note, I don't think for a second Zelda U will be released this year either. I'm sure E3 will bring some surprises but I think with all of the gamer rage last fall with broken releases, developers are going to be more weary (good!) of releasing games before they are ready. Not sure what the big hitters will be actually released later this year..

But it's not like this delay is made any less significant by that information.

1 Uncharted 4 isn't equivalent to 1 'Enter the Gungeon'.

Counting games isn't at all what this is about. Uncharted 4 is a significant release to be delayed.

It is unfortunate that PS4 will not have the "heavy hitter" exclusive in this holiday season, but the rest of exclusive catalogue is very strong, much stronger than Xbone's offering.

PS4 will continue to sell well all year, and hopefully in early Spring 2016 we will get awesome Uncharted game.

The big hitters will be what the big hitters are every year. COD, Madden, etc...

But muh holiday lineup

While it's a valid discussion to look into the scheduling of Sony's published outputs and its time-frames, console war lenses are the worst way to look into it. (b-b-b-b-ut MS/Nintendo has gaems then!)

I would not had been happier as a consumer if Bloodborne was coming out 6 months from now instead of 2 weeks from now, just to fill some arbitrary 'season list.'

It's like Microsoft delaying Halo 5. It's a big deal, whether people want to admit it or not.

He was saying that Gravity Rush 2 would be a big holiday title to them, which you responded by Tearaway. I only gave my opinion about the importance of those games for Sony because that was what the subject was about. At no point did I talk about Sony not having exclusive games so please don't put words into my mouth.

Only to people who pay attention though. PS4 needs a title that will stand out to CoD and FIFA bros. XBox has at least 2.

That's all subjective of course but I do think Tomb Raider has the potential to be very good. Especially since it was set to compete with Uncharted 4.

What's the ETA on Guerilla Games' robo-dino thing?

It hasn't even been officially announced. IF (huge if) they decide to show something this year at E3, I would expect it for next year, so mid/late 2016 at the earliest?

We could be surprised though. Shadow Fall was delivered late 2013 so they've had about 18 months to work on the game, assuming they're not changing their current engine.

Quality will always trump quantity.

Of all those PS4 exclusives I'd take a Zelda, MGS, Fallout etc over all of them, and I'm not alone.

And the holiday will be loaded with those kinds of games to get for PS4 but maybe not a big exclusive. If exclusives mattered the WiiU would not be in the position it is.

yeah obviously they're not going to be exclusive, point stands that one truly great game can undermine a wide range of average ones.

Precisely, PS4 could coast on average exclusives as long as it's third party games perform or look better than the competition.
