i imagine if battlefront had a SP it would look better then it's MP too. it's just the way these things seem to work. i imagine the animations and having them all sync with all players takes a good chunk or resources too. i mean, how many MP games have animations as varied and smooth as uncharted?

It's very fluid and polished, MM is kind of slow but the game is pretty awesome.

I played BF and I don't think there's a massive gulf between it and UC but it's extremely dependent on the map. The jungle map is amazing. Madagascar is alright, the colors make it look worse then it should.
The character models in UC4 though, so damn good.
I'm still waiting on the final build to judge however. Don't want to make too many graphical conclusions while UC4 MP has severe FPS issues.

That's what I'm hoping. I'll still put in all my weekend time into the beta. I just wanted new and shiny.
Its not like the last beta didnt have a load of updates - hopefully they do the same this time, though I guess theyll be more interested in tweaking the netcode

That was largely balances and server side stuff. Nothing really on the performance side.

Downloaded. I just deleted the closed beta a few days ago. Now I wish I hadn't. 3 days is too short. Should have been 4-5 days.
New map looks like Old Quarter. I'm sure it will look 10 times better than what it looks like in that picture. I like the night setting.
Cant wait till Friday.

No you don't have to redownload if you already have it on you system.

Nope for me it carried all the way through the beta.
That was what was frustrating as it was only a minority of people in that beta with the issue.

I don't understand how this is possible since there's a new map. I guess it'll come via a patch as soon as it's live (or whenever the map is released)?
I didn't have issues with spawns--it always spawned me close to a teammate--but the matchmaking/party splitting struggled here and there even after all the patches. It definitely got better though.

The map was most likely already in the closed beta. It was locked behind a live update.
Oh it doesn't look terrible or anything, it is actually quite nice looking. Just that it is definitely a big step down from the visuals in the SP, which is to be expected.
