I don't understand how Trump has pulled so many more Republicans out of the house than Romney with so little ground game and fewer people to work with

I guess there's just more people who really fucking hate Hillary than would vote for Romney

Guys, relax.

She loses Florida.
She wins Virginia.
She wins Pennsylvania.
She wins Michigan.
North Carolina, Ohio, Iowa, New Hampshire don't matter.

Everything else is cast in stone.

Just chill.

This rollercoaster still has a ton of ups and downs. Besides, this shit shouldn't be anywhere near this close.

I swear to god none of y'all pay attention to presidential elections or most of you are 18 because you NEED to chill. This is going to take HOURS before we know anything.

Meanwhile me living in Japan now... Gonna clutch my waifu pillow extra hard while I watch this.
just kidding, at work getting nervous

Also this morning my students are asking me about the election. I'm surprised they have such a strong opinion about US politics while barely understanding English, let alone not knowing two flying fucks at all the horrible shit their own government does on a weekly basis. -shrug-

For context one of my more intelligent students was saying Hilary is dirty (his choice of words lol which I didn't teach him but good for knowing how to use it this way!) for using celebrities in her campaign at the last minute. So they don't like her for that... despite their own prime minister doing the exact same thing while also being a bullish politician. But they don't like Trump either because he does not know or understand the situation between China and Japan, going even further to say if Trump wins, China will kill Japan. A bit overblown but interesting to see and hear opinions of 14 year old Japanese boys lol.

Jesus I'm glad when Brexit came in I was drunk in a tent without internet. I thought I was desensitised to right wing populist bullshit but this isn't even my country and I'm way too freaked out about this.

So where was that confidence some of you guys had in the first few pages? I knew this wasn't going to be as easy as some of you guys painted it.

It should have been a blowout and we should have won the House. Not happy.

Edit: I meant Senate.

Getting another Brexit vibe from this, and yeah I don't care if that annoys some people bringing it up.

Feels like Trump not far behind at all... long ways to go but everyone earlier on had that same overconfidence that Remain voters had when polls closed for Brexit voting. Who knows. Whatever happens the fact it's so tight and that Trump is even getting significant amounts of votes at all is as damning on the US electorate as the Brexit vote was on UK voters (not Scotland though, we strongly voted in our own self interest there thank god).

Is Ohio and Florida going to Trump? Clinton's Ohio lead all but disappeared. Jesusfuckingchrist. Is he actually capable of taking this?

And is the Senate confirmed to go to the Republicans? What the fuck is wrong with this country?
