Did my part. Please, my fellow Americans; don't elect the man who is a literal fascist.

I'm so filled with anxiety over this shit.

"The U.S. Postal Service turned a profit in a financial quarter for the first time in five years, though President Obama still proposed the agency slash 12,000 employees in his fiscal 2017 budget."

slash those jobs baby so the private sector can make up for them.

Republican legislation basically handicapped the Postal Office, they are required to have cash on hand to pay their ridiculous pensions for the next ~100 years.

I didn't actually vote for the Natural Law Party. Just thought it was a humorous party name I had never heard of before. Apparently it's only really active here in Meesheegan.

Voting at my polling place this morning in midtown NYC was relaxed and painless. Friendly and efficient poll workers. Should be that easy for everyone.

Now the wait..

And you know what? I have a feeling that Trump will make a concession speech and will admit defeat graciously today. Tomorrow though he will start putting the wheels in motion to capitalise on all these people he has besides him.

:lol at Alucard pulling the face turn at the last minute what a storyline this is what the WWE needs to be relevant more of this Vince.

Same at my place out in Queens. I'm not used to seeing crowds like that, haven't seen it that busy since Obama 08, but there was still almost no line since they staffed it properly and seemed to be ready for a rush.

So what's everyone listening to as their election day soundtrack?

I know Election Day should be a national holiday, but I'm wondering if having public schools closed actually makes it more difficult for working class people to vote. Public school largely plays the role of babysitter (which is its own problem), and having to look after the kids probably makes it more difficult to set aside time to stand in line and vote (talking about NYC experience mainly). Obviously personal responsibility and engagement has to come into play at some point. I'm just thinking outloud.

Voted for Hillary just before work today. VA may not be the most competitive state anymore but I still like to feel like my vote matters and I did what I could.

Now all I can do is wait I guess.

Well you also have to take into account low wage jobs would treat this like any other holiday and make them work.

I know that normal NBC has a free stream for coverage tonight, but I can't find one for MSNBC. I'd prefer to see Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow's reactions through the night.

I know, I should just pay for cable, but I never watch except for things like the debate and election coverage.

Had some assholes I ran into earlier yesterday start to ask me if I voted. Said yes and they said "good, we need every vote possible to MAGA. I'm going to be making sure minorities don't steal the election from us tomorrow, you should join us". This is in Wisconsin.

And no, I didn't even tell them who I had voted for. They just assumed based on my skin color that I must be voting for that crinkled orange shitbag.

WV and I votes for Gary johnson
hahaha just kidding voted for hillary.
Tonight's gonna be a fun one
Oh you!

Yeah today's gonna be a great day I think. Gonna spend the afternoon at a bar drinking and watching the final downfall of Trump and his disgusting racist-pandering Campaign.

Not great reading for Trump; Penn is on the surface a potential shocker but its the lowest early voters it seems. Bigger question is does that help Trump? Anecdotal has been Clinton supporters out early.

Unfortunately I think with these changes in voting habits its going to be difficult to know until the vote actually gets counted.

Trump will improve no one's life, and make a lot of others worse. If you vote for a dude that will actively take rights away from minorities and make their lifes hell, you're a piece of shit and will be called out on it. That's how it goes.

Incorrect, Trump will improve lives but those lives will include his own and the lives of a certain group of the more wealthy individuals. The price for that will be paid by everyone else. In the end even this "elite" might find themselves in the losers camp for causing the next big recession.

As a side note I doubt Mr. Trump could do that drastic changes what you're suggesting because of the Congress and the Senate (Then again it could be possible that the members of the republican party would support his more crazy ideas in these two institutions.). But even if he wouldn't have the support of the Congress and the Senate, he can still do plenty to harm not only the USA's policies and economy but also do similar damage in the international level, especially if he'd start "re-negotiating" certain trade deals.

P.S I recommend you all to watch the new PBS Frontline episode about Clinton/Trump, really informative stuff.
