So everyone has them. Those old school games that no one else really played much (of course knowing this board, everybody played them
) that you really enjoyed.
Here's mine...
1) Traysia - It was kind of this eastern meets western feel in rpg design. Kind of slow paced and definitely old school feel, but something about it clicked.
2) Paladin's Quest - It was a classic old school eastern RPG with a bit of a Final Fantasy vibe in terms of gameplay. The thing that was just kind of neat about it was it's artistic style. The environments were just kinda out there a bit. Just one of those games that kinda sticks in your memory back there.
3) Tecmo's Deception - The basic premise was you were a castle owner and people would intrude into your castle to kill you (well kinda like that). You weren't some sword/gun-wielding hero, you were just someone that would set up traps in your castle to catch the enemy. Then you could lead them into these traps. It was only game to really make me un-nerved the entire way through. I would have to stop playing the game for a while because it would just freak me out the closer the intruder got. I loved it for that!
Those are my 3 picks. What are yours? Show pictures if you can find them.
