Now, just Arriane and we're in business
I could still happen.
That said, Marsh's story gets bigger toward the end of the books and they're doing Dorne stuff now...

They're still casting? Oh shit, son.
OH SHIT, SON
Edit: Wait. If he isn't showing up in the last 4 episodes... They're actually going to save Jon's "death" for S6?
Saving it for early S6 makes a lot of sense, given that they don't really do cliffhangers on the show.Only three episodes from Bowen, apparently, the latest of which is ep6. So either his big moment isn't until next season, or it's being given to someone else and Bowen is just around to fill out his earlier role in the election. No way there's any stabbing going down in episode 6.

Wtf? Why not just replace with Ser Aliser? There's no need for this.also about th people saying Stannis is staying with the Night's Watch, isn't there a snow battle in episode five? That could be Deepwood Motte. Though I am going to guess it's the Dreadfort since it's already a place on the show
I don't really see this evidence beyond that they are covering the election in more than a cursory manner. The evidence from casting already suggests that they are cutting a bunch of Jon's ADWD subplots. All the evidence is really pointing towards them taking it pretty slow up North. They're already a few hundred pages of book material behind the rest of the plotlines, since they haven't even finished book 3 yet, and they don't seem to be in any rush to catch up. We're apparently getting a full election plotline with Denys Mallister, Bowen Marsh, and I have to presume Cotter Pyke is in at this point, too. Meanwhile Stannis seems to have been doing a lot of filming with the Night's Watch crew, whereas he would have to leave pretty early if they wanted to get to the stabbing.
I'm really curious what they plan to do with the Boltons for a full season if they're not going to be directly clashing with Stannis yet.
If Bowen's only in three episodes and his last appearance is episode six, how are they going to effectively manage the election?
I can see the election ending on episode 6 or so, no problem. Do you think they need more time for that?

It's more tragic if Jon gets stabbed from someone he likes/trusts.
A shame they killed off Grenn and Pyp...
Is Sam going away?Yes, please no Alliser.
George has got something planned for him, you know it. I'd hate for them to ruin whatever that is by making do such an obvious thing.
Just like Robb, Jon's death has to be from someone close to him. Roose and Bowen kind of share that regards - you know neither man liked the Stark boys but they still worked with and supported them to their faces. And it was still a shock to see Bolton turn.
I'm still confused why they killed his only other friends by Sam. With Sam going away I wonder if this means Jon's death will truly take him away from the Wall...
Is Sam going away?
And Thorne is a minor enough character that with all the other changes they are making, having a different end for him barely registers.
I can't imagine him not going to Oldtown. He can't be there for Jon's death.
Plus it would be great to actually see the scene where he unknowingly finds Arya in Braavos.
I can't imagine Oldtown being in the show. And I'd think we would have casting and set leaks about it if it was in this season. Though I suppose they could send Sam off somewhere else. But I don't see anything that necessitates him before gone for Jon's death.I can't imagine him not going to Oldtown. He can't be there for Jon's death.

There's nothing inevitable about Sam dying in that scenario, you just don't put him next to Jon for that scene. There's no reason for him to die. They could easily do an entire season with him traveling and getting stranded in Braavos, and then he arrives to a CG backdrop of Oldtown in episode ten.
If he's not gone by Jon's death, he would try to stop it and may end up a victim himself. I don't know how important Sam is in the story going forward, but his role is probably big enough to not kill him just yet.

That's an impossible question given we don't even know what happens at the Wall after Jon's death. So what would you do with him after Jon's been killed?
It's not like he's going to be all chummy with his betrayers; there are literally no other plots for him to follow. He's not the sort to simply desert, and I don't think he'd choose to go beyond the Wall again, either.

Sam in the books has his own arc with the maesters, I just doubt that makes it into the show.I doubt it's anything pleasant for the Watch as a whole. It's probably why George had Sam leave in the first place. He never intended for him to be there when it goes down, because it would probably interfere with his arc.

Because it's a complicated subplot that would require screen time, several new characters, and new sets or locations. It's the first major subplot I'd cut, and with what appears to have been axed for season 5, I'd be shocked if Oldtown makes it in.I can't think of a reason why it won't. Just maybe not this season.

Well if they are reorganizing the Aegon plot, they could have Sam just to King's Landing and say the Maesters are from there and just mix High Sparrow with them. Sam's plot is very interesting especially with the maesters conspiracy pointed out by Lady Dustin, which I have no clue how's that's gonna happen. The reason Pyp and Grenn were killed was because they leave and go to East Watch after Jon becomes LC. Bowen Marsh complicates a lot for speculating and I really wish they would have had Locke replace him, instead of Bran killing him. I also wonder how they are going to simply Theon's story since FArya is likely cut.
Edit: I just realised I got the High Sparrow and Measters confused I think.
Yea that can work, I just wonder what they are going to do in order to get his confidence back up and get the hell out of dodge. They can do Theon's plot and escape without FArya.
As long as Stannis is there to capture him they can just say he escaped Ramsay's torment once and for all.

Bran will talk to him through the tree.
Yeah, it could end up being essential, but with the information we have now, I think it's a strong candidate to get cut.We don't really know though. Before season five everyone expected them to cut the Sand Snakes, and here we are with all three major ones but no Arianne and no Aegon. We don't really know what's important for the future. Maybe Winds suddenly has like 12 Sam chapters in Oldtown and half the cast will be there by the end of the book. I will say I don't think he put Sam, Jaqen, and one of Oberyn's daughters all in a single plot only for none of those characters to be relevant. And even if Oldtown is in, there's no way we'd know since it would be season 6 material.
Fake Arya isn't needed so much as a plot mechanism (at least for Theon), but as a way for trigger Theon's growth as a character. This could work as a reasonable substitute.Yeah, I see them playing that up beyond just Theon hearing his name in the Wind. A full conversation between Bran and Theon after Theon pours his heart out to the tree could be a reeeeaaally strong scene.

This seems a bit of a precarious place to be doing this Ice Bucket challenge.
So uhh, that's a bit see through thanks to the sun light...
Guessing show Arya is going to be 14 still or 15 next season? Maisie (and Sophie for that matter) has grown up a lot since that first season and already turning 18 next year.
Oops, I accidentally left out "weird to think that she's" before "already turning 18 next year".

I really hate it when people do this. First it was Emma Watson and now this.
The reactions to a young female star turing 18 can be creepy at times and I could never think of them that way
Though it will be funny seeing an adult pretend to be 15 years old. Maisie's pretty compact though so it won't be weird unlike Bran's actor who's grown way too much
Just read on the Daily Mail that the Church in Croatia banned the Cersei's naked walk of shame from filming there.
