Untold Legends too easy?

So far I'm just walking through this game. Its fun but I wish they would have included a difficulty setting. The block button has become more of a novelty than something you actually need to use. Cash is already useless because of the high frequency of weapon drops. The fast recharge of health also takes away the need to manage healing potions of which I have 45 :\

I heard that after you beat the game a more difficult mode become available. Is this true?

some other minor gripes

-mace type weapons are more usefull than swords. They usually do 20-40 more points of damage than sword of the same level.

-way to many useless weapons with a fubar'ed naming convention.

-the need to have a form of chest in every area. Who the frack is going to hide money and goodies in piles of wood in the forest.

If this game was a chick it would be a cheap whore who puts out too much way too often.

I kid you not I was minutes away from making this same thread. The game is way too easy. For bosses all that you have to do is walk up to them, take a few wacks, then walk away to recharge your health, then walk up and take a few wacks, etc.

What kind of character are you using? I started out as a knight and the game was really easy. Then I made a Berserker and it was more difficult.

I have to agree on the "too easy" complaints. The only times I've died in the game is when I allowed myself to get surrounded by too many enemies at once and the potions don't regenerate me fast enough (a very rare occurence, since enemies run away for some reason if you whack on them a lot.) I use an alchemist, and it's even more ridicuous when you factor in poison bolt and the golem spell.

And has anyone actually found a use for bows and projectile weapons? Everything moves faster than me so distance fighting is useless

Knight - Ive been playing so long now I don't want to start over. I figured I would try one of the magic classes maybe they'll offer more of a challege.

I agree the bosses are way too easy. It also sucks that they show you their position on the map.

I thought the same thing at first but now that I've played more I use the bow to take out all the projectile enemies.

The game is definetly on the easy side. I played all the way through as an Alchemist and using the Fire Bombs I was able to run around dropping land mines and blowing my enemies to little bits. :) UL is great fun, but yes, it's easy.

I didn't notice if it added a difficulty level or not after I beat it. Once it ended, it rolled the ending of the story across the screen and then returned to where I was in the game. Presumely so you can continue playing, finishing up some of the side quests, etc. Haven't gone back to play it since, although I do intend to finish up a few of the side quests again. Just taking a break to get in some WipeOut Pure. :)

I used the bow to take out some of the bosses at a distance. Especially the once that like to drain your mana. I had a nice bow that dished out a ton of damage too.

BTW, it may be easy, but the game is definetly long.

I'm playing a ranger, and the only times I die is when I get surrounded by too many enemies (like belgurdo). Even though it's on the easy side, I'm still having a lot fun with the game.

Projectiles don't seem to do much for me, either. The only time I use them is to lure monsters in a group towards me, and then off them with my melee weapon when they get close enough.

There are a handful of points later in the game where it gets mildly tricky (lots of enemies that can deal out more damage than you can reasonably heal) but mostly it's pretty easy, yes. I've beaten the main game storyline as far as I can tell, but there are still more quests coming. No sign of any harder modes opening up, though.

This game is totally broken to me.

I'm playing as a Druid, currently level 29, and I'm using him as a FIGHTER, essentially, and having no problems. Easily the worst dungeon hack I've played since Champions of Norrath. Blech.
