It may not (still need confirmation) play GB/GBC games, it has a better but still smaller screen, it's coming out this fall and the technology is way old. We're not comparing it to how the GBA has been priced thus far, we're looking at what it offers, what the market will be when it comes out and what it should be priced when that is compared to similar devices (not what somewhat greedy Nintendo would price it). It also has a simpler design and uses less parts, it really should be cheaper. I think $50 but I wouldn't be surprised if they go $60.Azelover said:The only thing I'm annoyed about people saying is that it should cost $50. This is smaller, smaller doesn't mean cheaper, it means more cost. You're lucky if it sells for less than $100.

Now for a silly question - how many games are available for the GBA?http://www.nintendo.com/newsarticle?articleid=bd1fe151-e91e-4226-a7ec-d64c321d9479 said:Nearly 700 games are now available for Game Boy Advance.
Just from personal experience with Four Swords, looking at a 32" screen then looking at the SP screen isn't fun. Took me a while to adjust to switching between both screens.Uncle Dukey said:Can it still link up with the gamecube? If it's cheap it wouldn't be too bad as a crystal chronicles / zelda controller.
Wha? It doesn't scale down, it has just as many pixels as the SP screen. It's going to be nice and bright and razor sharp. That screen is too small. I keep thinking that text from some GBA games will look illegible on the thing (thanks to scaling).
As long as you hold it six inches from your face. i'm so tempted to get one, but the only time i'd be able to play it is in bed, and then i'd be cheating on my PSP.Dice said:Wha? It doesn't scale down, it has just as many pixels as the SP screen. It's going to be nice and bright and razor sharp.

I might have to buy one.
OH GOD. PSP is in danger :\
Analysts have suggested the Micro should be priced lower than Game Boy Advance SP, but Iwata said he hoped users "would see its value," adding that the Micro was more expensive to manufacture than SP.
