Are you sure about that? The Gematsu article says:
It just says the trilogy is launching for Vita in April, doesn't actually mention digital or retail.

Again, just says bundle, doesn't mention retail, whereas it specifically says digital or retail bundle on PS4/XB1/PC.
I could see it happening, but I wouldn't read it as confirmed yet.

The only reason why I would buy Assassins Creed is if its retail and if it convinces Ubisoft to release Valiant Hearts for Vita (retail too).

I want ALL of those! Ikenei To Yuki No Setsuna looks great. Fady K posts like these are always are both amazing and depressing. The games look great but I don't know Japanese. =(
With Dragon Quest Heroes coming to STEAM I really hope to see Dragon Quest builders on STEAM someday too.

I feel the same way! It's a shame that more Japanese Vita games don't ship with English menu's/subs, although I understand the reasoning why. :/ Happy to hear that the new Gundam game is getting them in the Asian release, though!

But yes, I can read! I mean, it's literally the only place I've seen reporting that, so I meant more "how did he get that from a Ubisoft rep when no other outlet did?"

I absolutely love the look of that DQ Vita. Unfortunately I'm needing to spend my money elsewhere right now. It reminds me of the special edition PSPs Square and Sony did back in the day.

Yeah, I''d love to get Valiant Hearts on the Vita to go along with Rayman Origins, Legends and Child of Light. Its such a good game, its a pity its not had a Vita release as of yet.
I've been busy grabbing a few new Vita Euro games, though I've only actually played one of them - Superbeat Xonic. This game is so insanely addictive that I've had no opportunity to play anything else on the system, the soundtrack is brilliant (been stuck in my head for days) and the game using physical buttons vs DJ Max TT's touch screen makes it the better game in my opinion.

So if Amazon.jp is anything to go by (probably not), Japan will get Assassin's Creed Chronicles on Vita a fair bit before anywhere else. They have it listed for February 25th. Same day as the PS4 version.

What are good cross play games between vita and ps3 /ps4?
Anything good besides Helldivers?
Won't get my consoles back for a month or two and I want to play something with my (vita-less) buddies.
Any lists I find online are poorly curated and contain games I 100% know don't support it like spelunky and minecraft.

Maybe I am being glass half empty. I didnt see anything on the blog post that said it could, just stating Ad Hoc play. I would think they would have said "play local multiplayer with 4 controllers on PSTV" as a selling point if it could. I hope I am wrong and that it supports local multiplayer on the PSTV. It would make it easy to bring over to friends compared to trying to lug the PS4 around.

Oh, I got it. There is one or two games that do that with the PSTV, it'd sure be nice if they did that for Towerfall Ascension. In any case, I'm playing local multiplayer with my Vita and PSTV in the same room.

I hear it's somewhat divisive. Plot is considered the darkest of the series, gameplay mostly didn't meet with a lot of praise. The protagonists and the dynamic they had between them was generally praised IIRC.

Brilliant premise that is utterly wasted on some of the most insufferable characters in the genre. The gameplay is a weak take on Valkyria Chronicles with some uncooked ideas like the sanity metre and judgement (Also that final floor's twist is complete bull). In short: It's a very raw game that does not live up to its potential. If it's less than $20, maybe give it a try but if not, skip it, it's not worth wasting time on it when there are much better tactics titles coming to the Vita/available right now.
Either that or watch John Carpenter's "The Thing" to see how well this game could have pulled things off.
