It's that time of year boys and girls. Time for your weekly injections of pure testosterone and manliness.

Plenty of action and fun to be had, so grab your beer and have your Braai/Barby/BBQ meat ready.

For those around the globe, the following is the URC's official partners and where to watch, but I'm sure you can find a way if you do not see your broadcaster below

What even is this? I live in a rugby town but I've never actually heard of it. Is it a league? A tournament? Why are South African teams mixed with Scottish ones?

it's rugby union

it's a cup that was formed post covid because NZ were being dicks with Super rugby. It's Essentially the Pro14 with SA and Italy in the mix.

Nice. (I did know the sport though.) I wonder if there are any fans dedicated enough to follow their team on some of those away trips.

This is our local team back in June. I don't go to the matches as it's always sold out and I don't know much about the game, but there's a great atmosphere when the rugby is on. People can drink in any pub while wearing the opposition's colours, and sometimes you see the visiting team walking from their hotel to the ground. If it was football, there would be a riot.

Im not sure about the Italian teams but the South African and british teams stadiums pack out and they have a decent mix when you watch live.
