Logically are a super shady company and not even American, its based in UK (founder/employees are known to have connections to US democrat party), they are basically a mouth piece for left/liberal views and discrediting everyone else who disagrees. Of all the parties involved in this Logically are by far the most dangerous, they are exactly the kind of group who will latch on to whatever rubbish they find on the internet and hold it up as cast iron proof with their political connections were they are held as 'reputable'.

Take This is an US NGO that seems fairly well meaning about mental health, nothing sketchy about them.

Don't be surprised if this investigation via CTEC and Logically will latch onto to the most dubious claims, hopefully someone with a shred of common sense in their brain at homeland security will dismiss the report and 700k was blown through for nothing.

There are definitely people who recruit over games like Call of Duty, but I dunno if these are terrorist types or just stormfront dorks who want to roll around on the floor and cry about white erasure and feminism.

In any event a trivial amount of money in federal spending terms, probably amounts to a handful of agents.

High School and specifically college now seems to be the targeting grounds for radicalization. But sure, let's play the "video games are the devil" angle again. Where's Jack Thompson?

I don’t watch Fox News. I have kids and nephews in school and college . 🤷‍♂️
If you are old enough to have kids in college then I assume you probably went to college yourself. Why aren't you speaking from your experience at college? Were you radicalized?

I mean, I'm sure there are terrorists and school shooters that get inspired by games. I'm sure there are the same for movies, music, literature, sports, etc. This Isn't The way to counteract problems - by having the government look into which activities it's citizens can't be trusted with, when if more focus was put into mental health (and housing) issues, I think as a correlation, all this shit would lessen, too.

What a waste of money.... I mean your tax dollars.

And why not? When tax revenue is automated, government has guaranteed revenue coming in, and zero consequences about debt and holding to budgets. So even though something small like $700,000 in isolation is nothing, it adds up when you tally up all the other useless government spends.

I guess the only plus side is for those of you who dont mind spending your tax dollars so people can have jobs in government sectors.

In Battlefield 2042 I joined a server that was a team game where you fight off "zombie" npcs. The server was titled something like "Kill liberal zombies", and had bizarre announcements like "the liberal horde is coming", and "Brandon whatever". Not sure how much of an affect that has on people, but in all my years of playing Battlefield games I had never seen anything like that; the general rhetoric against the left on Battlefield 2042 from team chat is something I've also only seen in that specific game, but I don't play a lot of modern shooters anymore.

Gaming does have more radicalized people than many communities, but it's not because of gaming. Gaming is just an activity that many outcast tend to engage in. Correlation =/= causation essentially.

History doth repeat itself.
Yeah, I remember in the 80's and 90's politicians from both sides of the aisle were scrutinizing so called "rock-porn", and also violent video games effect on violence in real life.

In the 80's congress called in Twisted Sister(Metal Hair Band) to testify, and answer questions.

Then in the 90,s reps from both Nintendo and Sega appeared before congress. We ended up getting the ESRB rating systems because of all of the fuss. After that it is up to the parents to decide what is mature and safe for their kids.

Pretty sure social media and youtube cults are bigger radicalizers than videogames. Weird. Though I don't 't doubt they intersect with videogames to some extent, through platforms like twitch or whatever. Also yea 700K is basically nothing. That's like paying 7 people for a year to research a thing.

Or, ya know, it’s an easier activity to release pent up aggression, so it appears that way.

This doesn’t surprise me. Sounds like someone was called a bitch on xbox live and managed to get funding for a crybully department

The problem is this, the current US government is far left, so really what I think will happen is that anything right of Stalin will be potentially purged. This could be terrible for all us normal people!
