Of all the films released – or, in this case, evacuated – this year the least likely to deserve a sequel must surely be BloodRayne.

The seriously dodgy and utterly underperforming vampire saga starred Kristanna Loken as a scantily leather-clad fanged warrior woman looking to defeat Ben Kingsley’s OTT undead leader.

But despite a poor performance at the box office, someone has decided that a sequel is worth a punt. This time, DOA: Dead Or Alive’s Natassia Malthe will don the suit and master of wonky movies Uwe Boll will make a return to the director’s chair.

BloodRayne 2 sees our heroine facing a vampire invasion in the old West, with a script written by Christopher Donaldson and Neil Every. "I’m excited to do a sequel to BloodRayne and this time in the Wild West. I'm a big fan of Sergio Leone and John Ford," Boll said in a statement. And we’re sure they’d return the compliment. Under pain of dea… No, hang on. That’s not much of a threat, is it?

Meatloaf must return!

Say that to his face! I DARE YOU!

Y'know, I never actually heard, but...

What ever was the outcome of his proposed boxing matches? Did anyone actually show up? If so, who won?

Uwe Boll cheated and almost sent one guy to the hospital.

He promised them boxing training, but didn't go through with that so he beat the shit out of everyone.

I hate how he keeps on making so much money in such an "in your face" fashion. I can do that, maybe I will.

how does he get his financing? How in the blue hell did Bloodrayne become profitable?

If this guy is making it, every single Hollywood studio is rolling in mad bucks. BTW, Dungeon Siege has been in the can for over a year without any news of a possible release, Postal has a even less solid future. That's about $80 million of movies that have yet to return a single cent to any investor.

He's a money launderer for the German mafia or something.

Last I recall, he hasn't actually made money...

Adding those together, he's lost money. Quite a bit of it.

On the topic of the boxing: That's kinda lame. But did you really expect someone to put more attention into his boxing opponents' training than he does into his own movies?

I read he is exploiting some german law about movies based on games, something to do with not paying taxes and the goverment paying for the budget. Not quite but close to that. So he allegedly makes millions. Did you really think he is actually some emo daydreamer who does what he does for expression?

Chili Con Carnage!
I thought they shut the loophole in german tax law that was responsible for this guys funding?

Can we get a ringer to pose as a critic? Maybe some hungry filipino boxer...

"Oy, Bloodrayne 2 sucks-lang."

And then let him loose in the ring, maybe put Boll in a coma, I dunno. Something to stop him for a while.

They did, but it only affected movies announced 1st January or later this year. Guess how many films Boll announced 31st December?
