Valentines Day Plans?

Working late, then headed home to make dinner. Likely headed back out afterwards as the wife is having some crazy pregnancy cravings lately. This week I've already made runs for Fruit Loops, Chips Ahoy cookies (the ones in the blue bag, NOT the ones in the red) and stuff for Root Beer Floats.

...I'm not really complaining, just commenting.

Was gonna drive jot to boston for the weekend with the girlfriend, however cancelled that because of the possible snow of up to 6 inches there tomorrow. I'm not driving 4 hours to be covered in snow lol. We decided to push that back to the spring so we can walk around.

Going to see lion king on Broadway and spending the night in the city instead.
 
Well, on the plus side, I don't have to get roses for the mother-in-law because she's out of town on a cruise for a week, so that saved me around $30.

Leaving a bit early to pick up the roses and head home. My wife offered to watch the kids while I go to the gym and I might just take her up on it, then be back in time to put the little ones to bed and get a fire going.

I'll also just go ahead and say what every husband is thinking...I'd like to get laid tonight.
 
I don't know.
Slept a bit when college finished, just finished playing some Infinite Crisis, raged a bit at how shit I am and I'm probably going to sleep for the night.
 
Boyfriend and I inexplicably got each other katamari games (Touch My Katamari for me, Me & My Katamari for him) for valentines, so we'll be playing those on the couch. Then going out to dinner. That's my Day.
 
So I've been dating this girl for a month (not in a relationship) and due to work and other obligations we're not going to be able to do Valentine's day this weekend. We are planning to have a nice date to celebrate it in two weeks when we're finally free. We texted each other happy valentines on our way to work this morning and stuff. Thoughts on whether I should get her anything for when we have our date two weeks from now? Not really sure what to do since we haven't been dating for long.
 
Working, then meeting up with my wife and son to drive down to the Pepsi Center for the Colorado Mammoth game.

Valentine's Day is a corporate boondoggle designed to suck large amounts of money out of people by creating one day that you're somehow required to care about your significant other.

I like buying my wife nice things, but I think it's more impressive when I do it at least a couple of the other 364 days of the year.

I think you should get her a little something. Don't worry about it too much, especially if it's so early on in the relationship. Just a nice sweet treat or something.
 
My gf isn't here, so we'll be having a Skype date instead. I was also going to help out in the Women's Memorial March in Vancouver, but I went all the way down there and they said "Women only". Was pisse dbecause the person emailing me about it said nothing about it, even though my name was CHRISTOPHER. I ended up just going to some bar place and had breakfast and came back.
 
My wife never does anything for me on Valentine's Day. No card, no candy, no nothin.

Is that normal? Is this a holiday where just the guy does nice things? Should I raise a stink about this?
 
My plans are currently set up for a week from because my girlfriend and myself are both working right now.

Sucks, but at least it won't be as busy next week.
 
Nothing. I suck. Maybe next year?

I have a significant freelance video project to work on though, so I'll stay busy with that. Just wish I wasn't such poison to the ladies. Ha..
 
I'm working on FFXIII-2 but I'm tired of farming and I'm wondering if I should just head to the end.
 
I'm either cooking for my wife or taking her out.

I'm assuming we will also drink at least a bottle of wine between the two of us and then sex. I still have to shave my balls tho

I wouldn't worry too much about valentines day as long as you are getting laid regularly and remembered on your birthday.
 
No childcare tonight, so put the kids down and pick up some take out at one of out favorite steak spots. Dinner, candle light, House of Cards and ???.

Okay, I'll take your advice. She does participate in Steak & BJ day next month so it's not a huge deal :p
