Looks very authentic. I mean, the art plus the fact it shows a in-game screen really does imply is VF2 sequel. Oh, the fact Tri-Ace is going to be unveiling a new game at the upcoming Jump Fiesta just add to the thought.

I think he's saying it IS in fact using the VP logo, or at least an altered one (color for one) so yeah...this would be a new VP instead of a just a game with strikingly similar character design

I don't know for sure either way, but I'm saying that the logo looks similar to the first VP logo, which is an encouraging sign that it's probably real.

Also, there's nothing of interest in the Japanese text that would confirm anything one way or another.

Its a Valkyrie but not the same one.

The title is supposedly Valkyrie Profile -Sylmeria- and it comes out in 2006 for the PS2.

The Valkyrie is named Sylmeria this time and that other lady shown (that looks a lot like she could be the Platina of this game) is the queen of Diban named Aylssia.

Actually, by saying she's the "younger sister" of Lenneth (they specifically say Lenneth, this confirms that she is merely the newest Valkyrie, and not related by character blood. Remember, Lenneth is really Platina in life and only Lenneth in death. So Sylmeria is merely the newest addition to the Valkyrie sisters. I'm still betting she's the queen after she dies. ^_^
