What is it with all the 9/11 comments? It was 24 years ago. Are we still forbidden from doing anything else on that day?
It's a bit weird because no one outside the US cares about this stuff (just as no one inside the US cares about significant dates of other countries). I wonder if Nintendo (or any other company) actually cares about any of that shit if it's not a public holiday or so.

It was the 1st, in a very long time, that the country was attacked by enemies on its own domestic soil...I mean, the official motto is "Never Forget"...but yea It shouldn't be so "sacred" that it's taboo to show a videogame presentation.

Just in time for their Argentine Nintendo Switch Online price raise.

We would like to inform you that the price of your subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack individual membership will change on 10/01/2025 00:00 (24H PDT). The new price will apply to your subscription starting with your next renewal if the deadline to turn off automatic renewal falls on or after 10/01/2025 00:00 (24H PDT). If that deadline falls before 10/01/2025 00:00 (24H PDT), the new price will apply to your subscription starting with the following renewal.

Old price: $58.179,00
New price: $70.899,00

Going from USD 42 to 52 USD.

Can we list our predictions?
A few things that could be there (not saying all of this will be there):

First party

  • Dates for Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment and Metroid Prime Beyond
  • Switch 2 versions and release dates for Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi Collection 3
  • Fire Emblem 4 remake announced for Switch and Switch 2 in 2026
  • Maybe Splatoon Raiders but I think they save that the Feb 2026 Direct
Third party

  • Assasin's Creed Mirage and/or Shadows from Ubisoft. Maybe Rainbow Six
  • Baldur's Gate 3 port
  • Jedi Fallen Order port
  • RDR port
  • Resident Evil 2/3 port
  • Halo and or Flight Simulator from Microsoft
  • New games from Square Enix, Koei Tecmo, Konami and Sega
  • I think DuskBloods and the MGS Delta port are also things we don't see until next year. But there's a chance

I think it's unlikely. They want to sell us and be focused on 1&2 HD2D this fall. And then there's the rumored VII 3DS remaster/port.
Yeah, I definitely get them not wanting to potentially hinder DQI-II HD sales, but I doubt DQVII getting a remaster would factor into their marketing plans for XII. Hopefully the remaster rumor is false though since I don't think DQVII 3DS even needs one.

FF7 Remake release date please

Sounds like a very strong port going by the commentary and would be fun to play handheld.
