Thanks for putting forth the effort to create those! I have a lot of videogame tabs/sheet music created by other people and myself, and I'll definitely be adding these to my collection.

Speaking of future tabs, I haven't seen a whole lot of Mega Man ones, so if you're up to it, make a few of those -- especially from a few of the less popular games in the series (4, 5, and 6 all have great music).

thanks again, it's almost as cool to see how other people arrange music as it is helpful to playing it.

The effort you put into this is very impressive. I'll certainly be using these tabs.

Maybe it's because it's been overdone lately, but I'm surprised there's no Super Mario Bros. theme amongst the tabs. I would like to see your take on it (rather than random tab poster off of a random tab site).

Hmm...I'll have to think of more songs to request. :)

I always get this question first, "What, no mario theme?!" You got one of the reasons right that it's been overdone. The second reason would be that I try to keep to pieces that would be acceptable in a concert hall. I play "potpourri" concerts where about 5 different classical soloists with different instruments all come together and do a few solos each (a good way to get some exposure to different instrument's ability). I tend to throw in a few of these pieces and get pretty good reception. I fear that unless I did something really cool with the theme it'd just be a novelty, like playing a piano with your feet. I have played with the idea of arranging it like a bossa nova or a calypso which would be cool but right now there are a lot of other pieces that I'd like to arrange before I get there.

As for Mega Man, I think that a lot of those pieces would rule as a rock song. But I don't know how well they'd fit in a classical concert hall. I'll have to listen to those soundtracks again. Usually the pieces that sound the most modern get the best reception.

That is pretty awesome. Unfortunately for me, I'm not particularly attached to any of your game selections, they are unfamiliar to me.

Suggestions? How about a Sonic the Hedgehog 1 theme or two?

Someone on here asked for Theme of Love from FF4 before. I just posted my arrangment of it (just added it to the list in the blog). Just thought whoever requested it would like to know.

Just a minor note: Hip Tanaka didn't work on Super Metroid, it was Kenji Yamamoto

Oh and I like your site of course :P I wish I could play this stuff...

Awesome! I was looking for who did the work on Super Metroid, couldn't find it when I did the arrangment. I'll update it. Thanks.
