The water effects in this video remind me of the water used in the TGS Warhawk PS3 video, but even more realistic..

Virtual Skipper is being developed by Nadeo, who are the Dutch studio who made Trackmania Sunrise...


The water effects are some of the best I have seen:

I am not sure what kind of physics/graphics software they are using here, but whatever it is, seems to be able to do a great job

The water itself is amazing, but the boat doesn't seem to interact with it very well.

Yeah...that does seem to be the rub....

The fact that we are starting to get realistic 3D water with natural looking physics are a big step in the right direction in my view...
