Did the PSP version add anything noteworthy, out of curiosity?
So, with Higurashi... if I only played the Question Arc now, and waited for the rest of the Answer arc to be released, how satisfying of an experience would it be? I am not on-board with cliffhangers.
Sekai Project has a Kickstarter for Hoshizora No Memoria up. Looks like there'll also be an 18+ version done too.
I don't really agree, the episodes can be read alone up to a certain point, but waiting months/years to get answers is gonna hurt the experience. You want to be able to remember some of the finer details when you read the last episodesEach chapter is a stand-alone-ish story that connects to a larger whole, there's no real reason to wait for any of the chapters to be released.
Like a sucker, I'll do it for the physical LE >_>
In other news, I'm surprised to see that neither Shizuka nor Hours Left have jumped in here to talk about the new brand SP developed for BL and Otome games.
oh
<-- has no idea
What's the latest update from any Sekai Project title regarding console releases? The one from Grisaia mentioning ESRB?
Fuuuck me I just finished Utawarerumono. Can't wait for the sequel now. That epilogue was really something else and knowing that these characters will reappear in the sequels has me excited beyond measure.
It'd be perfect! The game obviously has more scenes and development but the anime is a good substitute, especially since you've played it before. Easy to watch too, as it's streaming on Funimation or available on Amazon US for $20.That reminds me. I played Utawarerumono a long time ago hence I don't remember it that well, so I want to refresh my memory before getting into the sequel. Anyone know if the anime is good for that?
So hyped for The False Faces.

If you watch the anime and the oavs you'll see everything from the game except maybe 1or 2 scenes and stuff that they can't show in the anime adaptation thanks to it being broadcasted.
The first anime is a great way to refresh your memory.

Hm, I wasn't too fond of the anime, felt a bit rushed but the game could potentially be much better.
Is Dies Irae still out next week?
So now there's Grisaia: Phantom Trigger pt 3??? *sigh* Going to Indiegogo instead of KS again. I wonder if it'll even be included in the Grisaia complete box (I ordered it...)

I heard it was super rushed. It's kind of hard to fit a VN into something that short of a show. Only something like Planetarian can work, since the VN itself was really short (and the anime did a great job on it!)

Who knows at this point.

The Grisaia Complete box only includes the first group of Grisaia games. The Phantom Trigger games are separate, but I do hope there's room for part 3 in the PT box.
PQube is definitely announcing Chaos;Child at MCM Comic Con this weekend. Thanks Gematsu for the heads-up!
I wonder if some kind soul will port the translated assets to the PC version, as happened with Steins;Zero

Excellent news. I'd love to play more of the Science Adventure games, especially on console . Does one need to read Chaos;Head first beforehand or can you get by with skipping it (ie is it like how you should read Steins;Gate before reading Steins;Gate 0)?
Fan translation on PC only. The console versions (Chaos;Head Noah) are a director's cut with more story routes, but I don't think the extra routes would be that relevant to Chaos;Child. Is Chaos;Head available in English on any platform?
It is a bit disconcerting that Dies Irae is supposedly out in a week, and yet there's no Steam pages up or anything...
