What does this mean exactly?
PSP piracy, similar to the flashcard situation on the 3DS I guess. What does this mean exactly?
Runs homebrew and PSP ISOs, no trace-back and no bricking they claim. What does this mean exactly?

I thought the flashcard shit was squashed on 3DS?
its free, Sony give it out with anoher mini to EU account. 10000 new EU account more like lolAlso Urbanix sales skyrocket up 10.000% and becomes the best selling mini ever.
Nope, some DS flash arts are being updated constantly and work on the 3DS. DS mode only though.
its patched. They are fast.Wasn't this squashed pretty hard with last weeks firmware update?
Also Urbanix sales skyrocket up 10.000% and becomes the best selling mini ever.

PSP ISOs, useless.
Oh ok.
But still that and this are kind of pointless then.
You can use the same homebrew you were using on the systems prior!
Why not just keep using those older systems then?
now priates will buy vita instead of new psp to play the latest psp game! Hardware sales increase!Hooray now everyone can play their backed-up PSP ISOs because Sony didn't make a conversion program!~!
...
Can you still get Urbanix or is it patched/removed?

Yep. It's not on the Store, and I can't find it with the search function, but it's still on my download list (I downloaded it some months ago)Didnt Sony gave Urbanix for free ?

Sony can finally kill psp!
Sony hope.
The screen is nice but meh. Good first step. Get back to me when you can play backup vita games.
It's good though. It being open now means people will work and collaberate on projects![]()
Wait, why do you care about Vita Backups?
You can already buy all the games digitally on PSN.
Don't bother answering.
No, I said CFW is often used for piracy. You said "I don't use it for piracy, therefore you don't have a valid argument."
That is far from a valid argument.
Not when you've brought retail copies.
I have some, and id love to back them up for use on the go rather than carrying around the tiny carts.
Yeah? I do that for movies too. Or music. They still have my money so who gives a fuck on a consumer level? So anyone can sell the cart and keep the backup. Ok.
SCEUK were giving it away earlier this year as a Playstation Access Facebook promo. Unwittingly handed people the keys.

It is still up in the EU store, i just checked 10 seconds agoYep. It's not on the Store, and I can't find it with the search function, but it's still on my download list (I downloaded it some months ago)
I dont think that many people will rush out and buy a PS Vita because of this. Paying ~$250 to play PSP games, even if the screen and support for a 2nd analog stick is nice. It will likely be patched in a few weeks tops as well.First thought I had, too. Which is maybe not so bad for Sony?
I dont think that this will spure much new activity in the PSP scene. It is just an old PSP hack so to speak, now working in the Vita's PSP emulator. The kernel exploit is about the PSP kernel, not the Vita kernel. The screen is nice but meh. Good first step. Get back to me when you can play backup vita games.

You should take a look in to the other homebrew/hacking threads to see what these kinds of statements get you.So anyone can sell the cart and keep the backup. Ok.
Yeesh, you'd think that someone who's been on GAF for as long as you was familiar with the forum rules...Yeah? I do that for movies too. Or music. They still have my money so who gives a fuck on a consumer level?
^
That was quicker than I expected.
It is PSP CFW, running on the PSP emulator on Vita.No way. Is there video of this?

Hmm... probably you are right, I just noticed I searched for "uRbanix" by mistake and didn't find anything. I didn't know the search function was case-sensitive ._.It is still up in the EU store, i just checked 10 seconds ago![]()
Another rule that i think always apply is that if the game/content is in your download list, then it is also available in the storeHmm... probably you are right, I just noticed I searched for "uRbanix" by mistake and didn't find anything. I didn't know the search function was case-sensitive ._.
Completely depends on how secure the sandbox for the PSP emulator is. For comparison, the DS-mode on 3DS has been open since launch, yet no one has been able to break out of that sandbox and into 3DS mode. How likely is it that this can be used as a stepping stone to full-on Vita CFW?
Yeah? I do that for movies too. Or music. They still have my money so who gives a fuck on a consumer level?
