Vita "hacked," (PSP) homebrew on the way (not piracy)

This is awesome. Absolutely amazing. I'm setting up my hacked e-mail client right now, but I'll wait until ARK is released by Qwikrazor to install anything. I don't have a PSTV, so the ePSP stuff is what interests me the most ;)

Whoa... Has there been anything like in the Vita's life? I sold my 1000 model a little over a year ago, but this looks enticing enough to get a new one.

all that is very well and good, but i just want a profile added to use my DS4 with my Vita 1k.

i try pairing but it says no profile exists for it, so maybe it's just that simple to get it working

I wonder why trophy cheating is needed. I guess i can see it in terms of more OCD related as in wanting to 100% a game, especially if the trophies arent reachable due to online servers being shut down. But besides that, it feels very redundant to me. Kinda feels like writing that you're getting a hole-in-one, or a way lower score, on your own score card when playing golf.

And a PSN ban magnet maybe?

Same issue here. The support_uri simply won't turn into a url, regardless of how I send the email.
Make sure you keep the period at the end of the link and send the text as a link with your client.

My issue now is I can't reinject anything. Always getting the ? even after wiping the mail application.

At the "Step 4: Installing your signed Homebrew" step of the VHBL tutorial, how am I supposed to attach the eboot file (now named simply "x") to the e-mail? Just adding it as an attachment doesn't work...

I'm going to guess (having not tried any of this yet) that larger EBOOTs would require a separate FTP/file transfer homebrew to actually move the file over.

Tried using the writer .eml, rebuilding database, multiple email addresses and I still get the question mark

So frustarting

What's the status of native Vita hacks? I heard some rumblings in another thread that big things were being planned.

currently , nothing
just some very basic homebrew ( like some dot game and calculator and stuff )
unless Yifan tries to revenge and release a full documentation for the Rejuvenate hack that enable everything
then its all over for people updated to 3.52

so at the end it was a big nothing...
my 3ds plays most snes games 100%speed and gen games 100% speed.

maybe , or maybe this whole new exploit that run on 3.52 is a very big drama so everyone update to 3.52
then he release the full version of Rejuvenate that only work for 3.51 and less ( conspiracy theory )

The main reason I wanted to buy a Playstation TV was to be guaranteed to play all the Vita titles I wanted to that weren't supported (like Lumines) and maybe the PSP Lumines titles. Sounds like I should be able to do that with this, I think (as long as I keep the stock firmware). Woo!

Think this would result in Vita backups in the future?
Also, will it be able to run the psp emulator again? I can't wait to play VP and Crisis Core on my vita... I have both games but no psp

This is my problem no matter what email program or account I use it ALWAYS adds a .dat to the end of the file. Its driving me nuts.

Edit: now works instead of naming the eboot "x" you now name it "#0" and that fixes it.

Weird, sending the email from my Vita isn't working. I can see the attachment but I never get the email after hitting send.

Try forwarding it to yourself.

So seems like this exploit is pretty much bunk. Guess we're learning not to buy in to hype for these things.

Hoping that the vita's 'final' firmware ends up having some major exploits so I can use it as a catch all emulation machine in to the distant future, but for now I'll just update when it comes.

Oh shit.

Does this mean i can rip my UMD of Phantasy Star Portable 2 and play on vita TV?

Are the servers for that even up anymore?

I'm playing Wipeout 2048 on my TV right now, I'd say it's delivered.

Seems really irresponsible of them to release that Trophy hack. The other things I can understand; they only benefit the user by adding things that should be there to begin with. This is the exact reason why Sony never added Trophies to the PSP (because of hacking) and now these guys have come along and completely ruined Vita Trophy hunting. I can't help but imagine what kind of person needs to fake their achievement in a game...
