Quality wise, what do you think of the Wii U screen compared to the Vita OLED?
Definitely a big downgrade, both in quality and resolution, but it's really not bad at all. Much better than the atrocious 3DS screen (although I can't speak for the XL). Decent viewing angles (not IPS or OLED great), decent color and contrast. Not too shabby, but certainly Vita's is quite a bit better.
I will say that the WiiU's Netflix app makes me wish that the Vita's was better. This one is really great, whereas the Vita's is slow and clunky.
Look how cute and small the Vita looks.
This pic makes me wish Sony would make a vita XL with a seven inch screen. I'd buy that and play it at home, and play my vita on the go. With cloud save, it should work perfectly.

I figured. My biggest was worry was that it would be comparable to the 3ds screen which is horrible. So that's good.

I happened to pick up BO
the yesterday and am having a hard time getting into it. So far I enjoyed Resistance:BS much more than I am BO. Guess I'll give it some more time to see if it grows on me. It is good to see several Vitabros online and playing it as well.

Well, to be fair i'm getting really tired of having to hard reset my Vita from various lockups almost every other day. I hold my breath every time and my heart can't take it.
Do you use the browser much?
I honestly forgot Spy Hunter was a game on this system.
I kind of want a complete retail Vita collection at some point.

Yes I do, but i'm not convinced thats a specific reason. I've had it lock going from just opening facebook app, i've had it locked going from a twitter app link auto opening browser. I have had it locked while in sleep mode with nothing opened, just the blue light start flashing repeatedly and the last lock was swiping the lock screen and it suddenly slowing down, not showing bubbles just a blue background and locking up.
I've only had a single lockup since launch. May want to get the system checked out.

Mine locked a lot in the beginning. It hasn't locked in months now. I do think it's related to the use of other apps.
Let's hope FW 2.0 improves this.
I'm pretty convinced it's still browser/internet app related... I don't use them at all and hardly ever get lockups. It's common to hear browsers getting things like memory leaks..which may cause lockups. Not to worry, new browser soon right?

I dont know about that. My Vita hard locks every time I try to show someone who doesn't have a Vita something cool... EVERY TIME....
Oh ok yea, I don't think its just the internet browser but yea I do agree its an overall APP problem. I'm a heavy app user like youtube, twitter, facebook, browser, etc and i'm also always putting mine to sleep not powering it off. I'm sure its something to do with the memory. Which is strange because I notice apps like youtube are using the memory stick for caching so i'm wondering if all the other apps are to and if not why not.

I never power it off only put it to sleep. Lately I've been only playing games, almost no apps so that might be it.
So I played Call of Duty BOD at EBGames today. Few impressions.
- Framerate is smooth
- You run automatically, which is stupid.
- If you are running and press R, you immedietly start shooting. There is no delay like there is in console version. Vita's approach to this is stupid.
- The auto-aim is ridiculous. I'm used to Auto-aim that just helps you stay locked on to targets, but this locks you on automatically. I press L and I'm immediately aimed on their head, even if I was aiming right on them before I press L.
Overall it feels like COD, just a sloppy COD. I might buy it for $10.

Why is nothing happening.
Makes me want to replay Gravity Rush. That game couldn't have been a better introduction to the Vita for me, I love everything about it.
I won't be getting LBP though.

Vita version has touch controls... and is probably the same as XBLA/Steam.
Not sure what PS3 has, but no crossbuy makes me sour on it.
I already own 2 copies. Vita will make 3. I'm pretty sure there's nothing they could add to make it work paying for 4. Good job, guys, I guess you only get 1 sale.
Hell, if they made "buy one version for $10, get both for $15" that'd also be acceptable I suppose...
But as it stands? FROST ANGRY. FROST SMASH!!
auto run is an option I believe.

Yeah, sucks it's not cross-buy. But I'd still curious to see what the PS3 version will have. If it's just extra goodies, than I guess the Vita version will do. If it's extra levels and characters...than that won't be nice to the wallet!

2 or 3 games every month for ps3 at least. so probably 1 or 2 every month for vita. so don't expect to get 6 new games every month

I wonder if it is feasible for Sony to leverage crossbuy to ps plus deal. I mean we know one way plus work is that developer get fixed amount of money in exchange of making that game free for plus member. so maybe sony could use their ps plus negotiation budget to talk dev into supporting crossbuy. so sinemora will be crossbuy titles if you are plus member

I just subscribed to plus in preparation for Vita games. I don´t need to actually download the games on my PS3 do i? IIRC people told me that check out will register these games as bought without actually downloading them.
