Had to manually update CMA on the mac, now there is an option for enabling wifi in the preferences.

Btw with the save files uploading to ps+ cloud service....what happens if you leave ps+..are your saves safe? And if anyone knows- for how long?

Had to manually update CMA on the mac, now there is an option for enabling wifi in the preferences.

Had to do it on PC too.
Pain in the ass, but I'm now transferring some stuff from PC to Vita wirelessly, this is good.
Next is to push to the cloud.

For those wondering:
Automatic Update (PS+) settings are under settings > system I think
To manually access the cloud storage, you go through CMA on Vita.

Skyzard -- they're safe for at least a couple months -- though the last update from Morgan Haro now seems to indicate they stay safe forever, you just need to rebuy plus to activate them.

Thanks again, that's what I was hoping to hear (although I backup the regular way anyway).

Vita just got 1000000000000x times better with that update.

<3 PS+ and insta-screenshots.

Insta screenshots are so much better....it was ridiculous before! Lots of nice new things with this update tbh... ..except folders and youtube linking ;) next fw update hopefully...

Yep, i was bearing it because i love screenshotting my games, but it was annoying as hell. Will be much better now :)

Does the Vita come with a memory card when you purcahse it? Is it enough to at least download 1 game at a time? I really want one so I can take advantage of the PS+ deal

My bundle came with a 4GB.

I bought a 32GB when I grabbed mine though, 4GB didn't seem like much. Tried to trade the 4GB in as well, but got offered $2 haha..

Was there always a screenlock option? Not too shabby if it's new.

I got a notification from "PS Vita System" saying I can now use group messaging lol. What's strange is it says that I can set the interval in settings between 15 mins and 1 hour if I want it to auto receive...but I can't find the option anywhere.. LOL nvm!! it's in the settings of the group messenger app. not the settings app. you have to enable it in autostart in the actual settings app first though if you want automatic interval checking..

I got that message too. A little late, huh, Sony?
I think you set the interval by pressing the "..." button in the app.

Under the security settings? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's been there since day 1.

I can't remember if this existed before, but there seems to be new controller settings in the PS1 emulator. Edit: Also a "delete PSP game stored content" option in the PSP emulator.

Oy! I'm signing up for PS+ tomorrow and I forgot all about how they offer sales on PS3 games as well.... so glad I have a 320GB system.

In less than 24 hours I'll be playing P4G!

Probably true. What do you think is new in the PS1 emulator?

You'll probably kick yourself for not doing it sooner. As much as I bitch about it sometimes, it's the best pay service on a console (and now on a handheld).

So. fucking. pissed.
You can definitely copy cart saves up to cloud, I'm doing it w/ MK now.
This would've allowed me to move my data between retail and digital UMvC3. RAGE! FROST SMASH!

Assign Rear Touch Pad. You can assign nothing to disable it, which is great 'cause I kept accidentally touching it.

And under Assign Buttons, you can set the left and right analog sticks. Will only work in digital mode, of course.

Playstation Mobile SDK officially launched, everyone go make some games so Vita owners have something to play

https://psm.playstation.net/portal/en/index.html#register

Still can't make a free app. I would like to make an app and just have it free with ads, but Sony doesn't allow free apps which is stupid.

Also, that's gotta be the softest launch ever. You would also think with the 1.0 rollout they would have network features ready (trophies, leaderboards, psn multiplayer etc) but that doesn't seem to be the case.

You can set the wholesale price to free. It is just up to Sony how much they are going to charge. (hint it will probably still be free)

Also this fucking guy.

I want an update with more GAMEZ....seriously havent touched my Vita in a long time :/

That's cool...
Any chance they give you *options* for the size of the touch area on the rear pad assignments yet?

It's possible to set buttons to the left and right stick, finally i can play crash with analog sticks

I still can't play Crash. WAY TO FUEL MY RAGE!!!!1!!

What is that 2d side scroller samurai game they showee in the trailer?

Probably Sumioni?

How on earth do I link my hotmail.co.uk account to the email app?
I have no idea what to put in most of those boxes...can anyone give me a hand pwetty pwease?

So just to confirm, I need to have the retail cart in to upload the save to cloud storage? Seems a little dumb.

Edit: nevermind, they seem to be copying.

What a GREAT day to get my Vita, this update is fucking great.

I really hope PS+ and more stuff like this get more people to pick up the Vita.

I have a lot to play between some PSP (and PS1) games like Tactics Ogre, Legend of Heroes to Vita games like VLR, P4G, Ragnarok, Escape Plan, Stardust, Uncharted, Gravity Daze, Lumines, Jet Set Radio and AC:L.

Any other suggestions Vita wise?

(posted this in the 2.00 fw update thread too, but figure I'd get more answers here)
